Thank you for always using Amethyst Writer. v1.5.2 • Introducing Prose Check - Amethyst can now read over your shoulder. Prose Check highlights the five habits that quietly weaken a draft — adverbs, passive voice, filter words, hedges and modifiers, and filler starters — each in its own colour, with a running count per category. - Prose Check is off by default until you ask for it, and categories can be switched on or off individually. Hunt down one habit at a time. Amethyst never rewrites or corrects your prose for you, and this feature is 100% algorithmic and uses no Generative AI for suggestions. • Fixes - Corrects an issue with selecting text in the Scene and Chapter editors - Corrects keyboard input lag - Onboarding and First Time Tips should be less intrusive - Correct an issue with the caret display in Scene and Chapter edit views - Minor corrections to Wilde, Hemmingway, and Austen themes to comply with WCAG guidelines on LCD displays - Prose Check highlighting should update more quickly - Corrects a critical error regarding keyboard input while in the Scene Editor
