New in 2.1 • Right-click menus, everywhere. A layer, a page, the canvas, a project card, a saved template, a favorite — each one now answers a right-click with the actions that apply to it, keyboard shortcut shown beside every row. What used to hide behind 12px icons that only appear on hover — duplicate a page, apply a template to it, save a selection to the library, replace an image, give one language its own screenshot — is now under the pointer. ⇧F10 opens the same menu from the keyboard. • Layers gain bring to front and send to back, a project saved to disk gains Show in Finder, and pasting from the canvas menu drops the whole payload centered on the pointer with its layout intact. • Help gets a page of its own on the home screen. The hints and shortcuts used to sit behind a tab in the editor's sidebar — the one place you are not when you are wondering how to start. • AI translation now sends one request per language, up to eight at a time (Settings ▸ AI translation). You get a progress bar, the average a language costs, and a language that fails no longer takes the run with it: everything that came back is written into your text, and you retry only the rest. • Screenshots reach App Store Connect in the order you designed them in. Each set is now given its order explicitly at the end of an upload, so panels can no longer come out shuffled. How many images upload at once is a setting too, 1 to 8 — pick 1 when a shaky connection keeps failing images mid-run. • Pro sits beside the app's name, in the sidebar and in About, which is where you would look to check it. • The bottom of the home sidebar — Upgrade, Settings, Theme, Language, About — is one list of rows now, each stating what it is set to. New in 2.0 • Templates. A catalogue of 30 layouts — basic, panorama, showcase, editorial, branded and store artwork — each with its own type, color and hardware. Start a project from one, or apply it to work you already have; six colorways recolor a whole set at once, and any project can be saved as your own template. • A new home. Projects, Templates and Library each have their own page, so your templates, favourite components and saved backgrounds are somewhere you can find them. • Store artwork. A page can now carry its own size, so one project holds both images of an in-app event — the 1920×1080 card and the 1080×1920 details page — laid out from a single design. • Drag pages into a new order, and a page you add is built by the project's template, so it lands in the layout's rhythm instead of copying page one. • Mirror a shape, path or image horizontally or vertically (⇧H / ⇧V), and turn any layer a quarter at a time. • The area around your pages can be a flat color instead of the checkerboard — easier for judging light artwork. • A screenshot can now be zoomed below 1.0x inside its frame, so an image that does not match the screen's aspect ratio can be shown whole. • A refreshed interface throughout, and the app is now fully translated into 11 languages. Fixed: a centred headline could sit off-centre until its display font finished loading, in the editor and in exports; the transparency checkerboard turned into diagonal stripes after switching the backdrop color back; dialog buttons sat at two different heights. Fixed in 1.4.0 • Typing a color value by hand could make every layer vanish from the canvas — and the project would still open empty the next time. That is fixed, and a project already saved in that state now opens and draws correctly again. • Color fields now apply when you press Enter or click away, so a half-typed value never reaches your artwork. Text that is not a color snaps back to the current one instead of quietly becoming something else. • Selecting several text layers now offers gradient fill, not just a solid color. New in 1.3.0 DESIGN SCREENSHOTS FROM CLAUDE CODE • A new MCP server lets Claude Code, Codex or any MCP client compose a screenshot set, render it, look at what it drew and fix it — then export at the exact store size, or hand you a project to finish by hand. • It renders through the app's own renderer, so what the model previews is what Export produces. • Free, and it needs nothing beyond the app you already have. APP PREVIEW VIDEOS • Import App Preview videos, play them in the editor, and send them to App Store Connect alongside your screenshots (Pro). • Assign one video to every language in a single step — App Store Connect has no way to reuse a video across languages, and doing that by hand is the tedious part. A SHARPER EDITOR • A rebuilt font picker: every family previewed in its own typeface, with search, categories and recently used. Chinese, Japanese and Korean families show a sample of real characters, so you can read what you are choosing. • Ten new Chinese families, including LXGW WenKai, Chiron Hei HK, Cactus Classical Serif and ZCOOL KuaiLe. • Group layers, with nested groups. ⌥-click to select a single layer inside a group. • Text outlines, with adjustable weight and color. • Restyle several SVG or image layers at once from the inspector. • Selecting a page focuses the camera on it, and every page keeps its own background. PROJECTS • Duplicate a project onto a different device: choose the target size, tick what to carry over, and the layout is rebuilt for the new canvas — text reflows by proportion, bezels are swapped for the new device, and nothing overflows. • The project list now shows a real cover of your whole canvas. • Drag images — or whole folders — straight into the app. UPLOADS • Uploading moved to a concurrent native backend: pages render and upload at the same time, with retries and rate-limit handling (Pro). • Upload as JPEG instead of PNG — App Store Connect accepts both, and JPEG is several times smaller — with a quality setting under Settings ▸ Images.
