Take your library with you. Keep any movie or episode on your iPhone or iPad and watch it with no signal. Follow a series or a channel and the next episodes you haven't watched are kept ready, in the background, over Wi-Fi unless you allow cellular. Offline mode in Settings shows only what's on your device: Recent, each library, search and every page work as usual, with your copies. Copies you've finished are removed after a day, whichever device you watched on. Settings shows what's on the device, a size limit if you want one, and a list to manage. Downloads negotiate with your server so a batch never overloads it, pause when you leave Wi-Fi and resume on their own. Smoother scrolling while downloading, and artwork that retries a slow connection.

1. Sort and genre memory: pick a sort and a genre in a library, then quit and reopen the app. They should still be set (orange labels). Try the same from Apple TV or the web: the phone should pick it up when you open that library. 2. Subtitles: set subtitle size and colour in Settings, then play a video with subtitles. The captions should match. They should also match if you changed them on another device. 3. Audio tracks: on a video with several audio tracks, switch tracks from the player. Playback should continue where it was. 4. Shows: watched episodes are hidden; the eye button reveals them. 5. iPad: in landscape, libraries appear as tabs. Rotate and check nothing is lost. 6. Rotate the phone while a video plays. It should keep playing. 7. Settings, then the unlock screen: the price should be in your currency.
