Two fixes: - In Direct mode, pinching and then dragging made the picture jump, and you could push it past the edge of the video - A Live Activity could stay on screen after the app was closed

Arranging your game controller is much easier: buttons no longer jump to your finger when you tap them, and a connected physical controller pauses while you arrange, so you can't accidentally control your Mac. Buttons and sticks now give haptic feedback. Your video quality choice is remembered instead of resetting to Automatic after a disconnect. With Mac host 1.0.15: "Sharp" in trackpad mode now actually raises the resolution — it had no effect on iPhone before — and remote connections use a higher resolution too.

Fixed text input occasionally failing inside games. The connecting screen is easier to read. Substantially improved VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and contrast support.

• Your iPhone now shows the Mac's real pointer shape — text cursor, hand, resize — instead of always drawing an arrow (requires Mac app 1.0.12 or later) • Scanning the pairing QR code connects right away; no extra tap • Fixed first-time pairing: the list no longer shows unpaired Macs, and the instructions no longer point you at a QR code that isn't there • The "pairing expired" alert now takes you straight to re-pairing • Virtual keyboard keys give clear visual feedback and haptics when pressed • Fixed parts of the English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese interface that still showed Traditional Chinese

• The pointer now changes shape with your Mac: an I-beam over text, a hand over links, a resize arrow on window edges. Before, it was always an arrow no matter what your Mac was showing. (Requires the updated Mac app.) • The loupe gains a Magnification setting (1.5×–5×). You could only change its size before — now how wide a area you see and how large things get inside it are separate. • The fallback arrow, used when no Mac pointer has arrived yet, was redrawn to match macOS in both shape and colour. • Fixed: the QR scanner camera preview was rotated incorrectly when the iPhone or iPad was held in landscape.

Steadier remote connections: a brief outage on the connection server no longer interrupts an active stream. Your screen and input travel directly between your devices — the connection server has nothing to do with them. But until now, a momentary hiccup on that server would drop a live stream and show "Remote connection failed", even though the picture had been running perfectly the whole time. Now you only get told when something has actually gone wrong. • Corrected the pairing instructions: on the Mac it's "Pairing & Security" → "Pair New Device" • The first-run screen now tells you where to get the Mac app (touchmac.app)

A full MacBook keyboard, drawn to match the real thing. Turn it on in Settings. Esc, F1–F12, arrow keys, ⌘⌥⌃⇧ combinations and caps lock — all of it. The iOS keyboard can't send any of these, and they're exactly what you need when you're driving a Mac: Esc to stop a program in Terminal, ⌘Q to quit, ⌘Tab to switch apps, arrow keys to move through a list. Modifiers are sticky: tap one and it lights up, tap the next key and it releases — so combos work one-handed. Double-tap to lock it for repeated use. • The connecting screen is no longer a dead end — cancel any time, and if it takes too long it tells you what went wrong • Fixed the top toolbar overflowing on small iPhones and at larger text sizes • Filled in missing translations across all four languages

• Instant clicks: taps no longer wait ~0.3s for double-tap detection, so the pointer responds immediately. Triple-click is now supported (for example, selecting a whole line in a text editor). • Pinch to zoom in Direct Touch mode: magnify the screen to see fine detail, then pan with two fingers while zoomed in. • Game mode now rotates to landscape automatically. • Virtual gamepad layout editor: the panel can be collapsed so you can drag buttons to the upper half of the screen. Adding a control collapses it automatically while keeping "Set Keys" and "Delete" available. • If your Mac has multiple displays, you'll be asked which one to control when connecting. • The connecting screen now stays until the first frame arrives, eliminating a brief black screen. • Smoother cursor dragging and improved battery efficiency.

Strengthened the security of remote pairing and fixed an issue where remote sessions could be interrupted on some networks. Reconnection is now faster and more reliable.
