- Added a tutorial for new users. Using a sample photo, you can try creating a folder, adding a word, Look up and Select words from photo on the real screens. - Added a hint on the Study Mode screen about how to filter the words (shown once, the first time you open it).

- In "Pick words from photo", words you select across a line break are now joined correctly: no space is added for Japanese and Chinese, and English words split by a hyphen at the end of a line are put back together. - If words from a photo are still in the input box, you're now asked to confirm before leaving the screen. - AI generations are no longer used up without a result, for example when reading a photo after reaching the word limit or going back while AI is generating in word details. - Tapping a rating button twice quickly in Review no longer rates the next word as well. - Fixed singular and plural wording in English, Spanish and Russian (e.g. "1 word" instead of "1 words"). - Other small fixes: the photo text screen now shows the AI-generated label and "Report this content", lines over 300 characters in Look up get a clear message, and layout issues are fixed.

- Added "Pick words from photo" for every language you study. Drag across the text in your photo to pick the words you want. - For notes with one word per line, tap "Add all" to add them at once ("Scan all from photo" has been replaced by this). - In Bulk AI Generation, choosing a word that already has content no longer adds the same example sentence or memory tip twice. - If notifications aren't allowed yet, you can now turn them on with "Allow" in Settings & Plan. - Added "Data sources" to Settings & Plan.

- Pick your favorite of 4 theme colors (Settings & Plan). - In Review, rate a card without flipping it first, and cards no longer change size, so you can keep a steady pace. - After "Look up words", add AI example sentences, idioms, and memory tips right away. - Words you've already saved are grayed out in "Look up words", so you won't add them twice by mistake. - Smoother card flips and animations.

Minor improvements.

- Fixed a layout issue where the word count on the Home screen could overflow when the number was large.

- New "Look up words": write out words you don't know, or scan them from a photo, and AI suggests meanings. Register only the meanings you choose - Scan only the words you marked in books and handouts (circling works best; English, Spanish, French, German, Russian) - When a spelling looks wrong, a suggested spelling appears - Plus display improvements and bug fixes

- When a language's voice isn't installed on your device, the app now shows you how to add it - Added a button that takes you straight to Settings when notifications aren't allowed - Our App Store name now says what the app does. The app itself and your data are unchanged

- Permission prompts for camera and photos now appear in your device's language - If access to the camera or photos is not allowed, the app now shows you how to enable it in Settings - The app now warns you on screen when it cannot save your data - You can now send feedback and bug reports from Settings - Reading words from a photo uses one AI credit even when no words are found. This is now stated up front - The word count in study mode now correctly reflects your plan limit

- The app now lets you know when a new version is available - Added version info to Settings - Words over the plan limit are now handled consistently on every screen - Backup restore now tells you properly when saving fails

- Flashcards now show the answer centered when a word has no extra content - The plan screen is easier to read, with a recommended badge and capacity hints - Bulk registration now lets you know when you go over your word limit - Words over your plan limit are no longer included in reviews (your words are never deleted). The review screen will let you know, and on a higher plan you can keep reviewing all of your words

- It's now easy to see that you can add a whole list of words from a photo — you choose how to add words when you start - You can start a photo scan directly from the empty word list - Fixed "Analyzing photo" appearing while text was being analyzed - Fixed error messages being hard to read - AI generation no longer adds an idiom you already have

- You can now write your own example sentences, idioms and memory tips when registering a word - Your remaining AI generations are now always visible where you use them - Better idiom generation: no more rephrasings of the headword, and the app tells you when nothing further exists - Fixed the plan screen being cut off on smaller devices

- Improved AI generation. It no longer returns duplicate content or the headword itself, and tells you when nothing further can be found (no credit is used). - Fixed cases where AI usage counts were recorded incorrectly. - Bulk registration now confirms before discarding text you have typed, and a deleted row can be restored on the spot. - Fixed a case where you could get stuck on the bulk registration screen if saving failed. - Fixed the first-time tips being cut off at the edge of the screen. - Fixed text being clipped in some languages.
