That's fixed, and iCloud problems it genuinely can't solve are now explained instead of silently retried. CHANGED Pennywick now handles one receipt at a time. Scanning several receipts in one batch, splitting a bill by line item, and slicing a photo of several receipts have been retired — the scan flow is faster and more predictable without them, and they were used far less than the time they cost to keep sharp. Nothing you've already saved is affected: every receipt, split, and household ledger stays exactly as it is, and splitting an expense across categories works just as before.
