Fewer ads. Your first five runs are ad-free (it was two). After that, an ad comes once every third run instead of after every run, and challenges show one every 15 attempts instead of every 5. Casual is easier. You take less damage, and Casual bosses have 20% less health, so boss fights end sooner. Standard and Challenging are unchanged. Movement sensitivity now defaults to 1.0× (it was 1.6×). If you set it yourself, your setting is kept.

Runs are shorter: 15 rows instead of 20. The final boss now appears at row 6 as a rival, then retreats until the rematch. Enemy bullets show how hard they hit, and enemies hit harder the deeper you go. Strong builds toned down. Casual is the default again, with weaker bosses and the most Flux. Live ship preview, a weapon sound per ship, and tap any upgrade or module for its full card. Fixed: the final boss could spawn untouchable. Runs in progress on the old version can't be resumed.

20 NEW UPGRADES Twenty new upgrade families join the draft, each with its own art. And cards that could never do anything for your build — a freeze that needed a frost source you didn't have, buffs only drones could read — are no longer offered at all. ENEMY FIRE YOU CAN READ Nine new projectile types. Each boss now has a signature shot instead of firing its own minions' bullets, snipers and homing missiles look like what they are, and the Hammer finally has a bullet of its own instead of borrowing the Falcon's. FIXED • Acid pools now match their damage area exactly. The painted edge used to churn in and out, so you took hits standing on what looked like clean ground • The Talon boss shot could grow to two-thirds of the screen width at full power • Upgrade descriptions no longer get cut off on shorter screens • Quitting the tutorial counted as a completed run • A fresh install could overwrite a healthy iCloud save with an empty one. Your welcome chest and milestone rewards now wait for your progress to finish restoring • Mirror Image fired the blaster on cast, and seven abilities played the chest-opening sound • The low-health heartbeat no longer rumbles for entire waves • Around 20 MB smaller to download BALANCE New players now start on Standard. The step from Casual up to Standard was the steepest on the whole ladder, so Casual carries slightly more now and that jump is a smaller one. Station prices rise across a run, with a discount on the lower difficulties. The Talon reaver drops from 350 HP to 250. The victory screen shows which difficulty you cleared.

NOVA ROGUES — Update 1.1.0 (build 20) NEW — MODULES • Forty-nine permanent modules, kept between runs and equipped three at a time from the Loadout, one per slot type • They are not upgrades. An upgrade is picked mid-run and gone at the end; a module is chosen before you launch and shapes the run from the first wave • Four rarities. Stations stand in their place and sell repairs, hull, rerolls, banish and recall tokens, scans and more • Flux is earned by fighting and spent the same run. It does not carry over • The row before the boss is always a Station, so the last decision before the last fight is what you can afford • The Cargo Bay holds what you buy but do not install, and anything in it can be scrapped back NEW — CHALLENGES • A second mode, and a second reason to open the game: thirty hand-built fights with fixed loadouts • Duels, swarms, bosses, coalitions that put two factions on one screen, purges against the clock, and fights you have to finish untouched • You are handed the exact build that beats each one, finished and over the line. The only question is whether you can fly it NEW — DAILY AND MILESTONES • A daily screen with a reward that grows the longer you keep the streak • A milestone hub covering badges, account levels, first clears and career totals — each one pays a chest • The Title screen has a nav row now: rewards, badges, collection, ranking, settings and credits, with a dot when something is waiting CHANGED • No Forced Ads covers more than it did. Interstitials and banners are both included, revives are granted instantly with no ad to watch, and the two daily bonus-chest ads stay optional for everyone • Two interstitials exist, at the end of a run and the end of a challenge. Banners appear on the Level-Up card and the Challenges board, never over the ship while you are flying it • The Loadout screen was rebuilt around the ship: larger plates, real ship art, and an info tap on each ability instead of one dot explaining all three • Question nodes are gone from the map FIXED • Level-up cards drew the wrong rarity colour in some combinations • The Loadout screen could sit underneath the status bar on phones with a notch, and the game could resume with time still stopped • The Daily screen rendered unstyled — a single bad selector had killed the whole stylesheet • Ranking now says why when no leaderboard appears instead of failing silently • Turkish text uppercased with the wrong letter in places • A run chest could be counted twice, and its contents were rolled before you opened it UNDER THE HOOD • 159 colours in the interface are now bound to the palette rather than hand- written, and 16 controls were enlarged to the minimum touch size • Oversized textures are capped and so the download is smaller and the first frames are steadier

Rankings and badges open again. Sign-in was being refused for every player — that is fixed, and cloud save now works alongside it, so your progress follows you to a new device. The Reaver's three sweep attacks were wide enough to cover the whole arena. All three are now tight enough to dodge. Deep runs stop serving up starter waves. The weakest fights retire past the halfway mark, so the last rows stay dangerous instead of thinning out. Map icons no longer run off the edge on tall screens.

All three bosses reworked. They now fight on real patterns instead of chasing you — each faction moves differently, and every phase has three attack routines instead of one, so no two fights open the same way. • Talon breaks apart properly, and its shards hunt you • Brood's hive summons six different minion types • Verge's drones now stop coming once you've cleared enough Fixed: visual effects that were never appearing on device, a bug that could permanently stop your ship firing, Singularity landing off-screen, and enemy strength readings on the map being plain wrong.

Drones are alive now — the formation swings and settles as you move, each type holds its own position, and attack drones break off to dive at close targets. Enemies can be shot while they fly in instead of arriving invulnerable. Repair Bay is one tap on the map. Tap the "i" on the upgrade screen for your ship's full live stats. The back button works everywhere, and from the map it returns to the title with your run saved. Plus every fix from 1.0.1.

Nova Rogues 1.0.1 FIXES - Fixed two crashes on startup. - Fixed the HP bar staying white after taking damage. SHIPS - All three ships now have signature passive traits, plus a stat card on the loadout screen. - Hammer overhauled: bigger hull, longer chain, bigger and harder-hitting ball. - Hammer's barrier now curves around the ship and follows it. 50% thicker and lasts twice as long. - Hammer's Nova ultimate is 50% larger.
