StormGuard is built for practical decisions: when rain may arrive, how likely it is, how strong it may be, and why an alert preview was triggered. What you can do with StormGuard: • Check rain guidance for saved places Save important places and see which ones may be affected by rain or storm risk. • Use optional current location Current location is optional and only used after you choose it. StormGuard does not ask for location on launch and does not use background location. • See today, tomorrow, and hourly context View simple forecast summaries, a short hourly strip, rain chance, intensity, and freshness indicators. • Preview alerts before enabling notifications See what StormGuard would alert you about before turning notifications on. • Understand why an alert may trigger Alert previews explain the forecast signals behind them, such as rain chance, intensity, and timing. • Stay in control No account. No background location. No location prompt on launch. Clear privacy controls are built into the app. StormGuard Pro unlocks higher saved-place limits, more alert rules, expanded delivery history, and automatic forecast checks when opening the app. StormGuard is not an official emergency alert service. It does not provide live radar, real-time lightning detection, or guaranteed weather warnings. It provides forecast-based rain and storm-risk guidance to help you plan with more confidence.
