Prospect. Point the camera at a game in a shop and Cibby tells you whether to buy it: Strong buy, Buy, Maybe, Wait or Pass. It reads the barcode, the title and the price sticker, checks the asking price against the market, and judges how well the game fits the collection you already have. Cibby is now available in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, French, Spanish and German. You can also share your collection as a shelf poster sized for posts or stories. Box and spine scanning is more reliable, image loading behaves better during network issues, and this update includes fixes for search, collection details, regional labels, currencies and Wii U cases.

This update is all about the scanner. Scanning is more accurate: on iPhones with LiDAR the camera now reads the depth of the scene, so thin spines lock on instead of hunting, and the viewfinder coaches your distance when you are too close or too far. The scan editor grew up: a magnifying loupe for placing crop corners precisely, a white point picker with live feedback, a hold to compare view against the original photo, and a preview of the corrected result. Finishing a scan is a moment now. Your box materializes with a scanline sweep, and one tap lands you back in your collection at the new game. Also new: sorting by value, progress or rating shows that number on every game, and the Spines shelf groups by progress. Plus a batch of fixes for search taps, big shelf imports, scan sharing and sync.

Cibby is a bit more himself in this one. The Cibby mark is now animated throughout the app. He looks at what you're doing, reacts, and you can poke him.
