You are never out here alone. NavRun is for ultrarunners, built by one. It runs with you the way we run with each other: matching your pace, staying till the end.
NavRun is for trail and ultrarunners, and I built it because I am one of us.
It reads your real runs and builds training around the runner you are right now. Time on feet, not pace. A long slow day is a big day.
50K to 100 miles. Plans that move when your week moves, race-day pacing and aid-station timing, and a quiet heads-up when your load is climbing faster than your legs.
Free at the door:
- Your training, described and never graded. No scoreboards, no red numbers.
- Time on feet valued over pace. A long slow day is a big day.
- A welcome back whenever you return, with credit for what you have already built.
NavRun Pro, for the long stuff:
- Weekly reports in plain English.
- Race-day strategy: a mile-by-mile plan with weather-adjusted splits and aid-station timing.
The craft of training for an ultra should not be locked away. Almost everything other apps charge for, NavRun gives away free. Pro is monthly or annual, and you can cancel anytime in the App Store.
You are never out here alone.

OUT HERE
The thing I most wanted NavRun to do, it does now. Start a session and one link goes to your people. They see where you are and how you are moving, live, with no account and nothing to install. Then they hold a button and their voice reaches you: mile 80 of a hundred, mile 10 of a 50k, deep in the night. Being accompanied is free, and it stays free.
RACE WEEK, ON YOUR PHONE
Build your race plan from the app instead of going to find a laptop. Aid stations are yours to edit: add one, fix a mile marker, mark where your crew can reach you, note what is in the drop bag. And the race day list, headlamp, spare socks, the thing you always forget, is free for everyone and one tap from the start line.
YOUR PLAN KNOWS WHICH RUN WAS THE RUN
A day you ran used to sit on your plan with nothing next to it. Now your run links itself to the day it was for, on its own. Two runs in a day both count. A walk or a hike is credited as time on your feet, because that is what it is. A trail run is a run. It never says you missed it.
ANSWER THE WEEK NAVRUN WRITES YOU
When a week goes sideways NavRun writes you another way through it. Take it, keep the week you had, or change one day before you take it. Any hard run still ahead can become an easy run: same day, no pace to hit, nothing else in your week moves.
A FIRST WEEK IF YOU HAVE NEVER HAD ONE
Nothing synced, nothing logged? You still get a week. Walking and running, laid out in minutes on your feet rather than miles, building on whatever you show it next.
ALSO IN HERE
Four screens when you open the app for the first time, saying why NavRun exists before it asks you for anything. Signing up asks one question now.
Your photo in the top right opens your profile, with "Who can see you": every link you have out, and a way to close each one.
The app is pine now, the same colour as the rest of NavRun, and easier to read in the dark.
A hundred miles of splits fits on one screen, so you can see where you faded.
Records and best efforts open the run behind them.
I am one ultrarunner with a day job, building this for the community that made me. If something in here is wrong, write to me at navrun.app/support and you get me.
Whatever you are out here for, you are not out here alone.
