Tilāwa now has three tabs: “The Mushaf”, “Practice” and “Settings”. • “Practice” gathers your tools — “The Mirror”, “Reviews”, “Exercises” and “Chaining” — each with a line that says what it does. At the top: the verses due for review today. • No more truncated labels in the tab bar, on iPhone and iPad. • “Settings” now has its own tab, and the mushaf header is less crowded. • Fixes: the bottom of the settings no longer slides under the bar, and the surah progress button is always visible. Everything is computed on your device, offline. Reading the mushaf, its translations and its audio stays free.

This release introduces Murāja'a mode: several verses chained in a single take. • Continuous chaining — tick a range of consecutive verses and recite it in one go. The engine locates each verse inside the take and scores each one separately. • The mushaf's stopping points honoured — at a waqf the final vowel is never asked of you. • Reference recitation — the passage played in one unbroken take by Sheikh Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary. Everything is computed on your device, offline. Your voice never leaves it. Reading the mushaf, its translations and its audio stay free: all 114 surahs, search, Khatma. We do not sell the Text, but the tool that measures recitation. The tools are one-time purchases: no subscription, lifetime access. A seven-day free trial of Murāja'a mode, with nothing to cancel.

• Continuous review: move to the next verse without going back to the list, and hide the text to recite from memory. • Choose your mastery threshold: 80%, 90% or 95%. • Improved voice analysis and display fixes. • The Contrast Mirror: say سَتَرْ then سَطَرْ in a single breath, and see your two voices overlap — your ṭā against your tā, before any judgment.

• After each recitation, every letter that needs work appears in its place in the word — with the sound that was heard instead of the correct one (ص → س) and the point of articulation to fix. • The word microscope now shows ALL your mistakes, not just the first one. • A letter the scoring engine never heard no longer disappears: it stays grayed out, so you know what you forgot to pronounce. • The listening quiz reveals the verse after the first listen: recognize it first, then read it if you need to. • Fixed scoring on vocalized texts, and a crash on an empty recitation.

• "Memory up to date" no longer appears while ayahs are still waiting to be reviewed. • The Apple Watch badge counts the ayahs you have due, not a number from another app.

• Text no longer gets cut off at large text sizes. • The pronunciation score (makhraj) reappears on screen after each attempt. • Five screens no longer extend under the tab bar. • A letter that wasn't heard now appears in gray instead of disappearing.

Sixteen labels showed up in French whatever your language setting — the Meccan and Medinan surah tags, and fourteen tajweed rules. They now speak yours.

This update repairs and refines guided recitation. • Opening letters (Alif-Lām-Mīm, Yā-Sīn, Ḥā-Mīm…) are now for listening. The master recites them and the lesson moves on — they are no longer scored, because these letters are spelled out and the judge lacks the resolution to measure them. It says so plainly instead of inventing a score. • The microphone no longer stays locked after listening to the master. • "Listen back" now plays your voice, not the silence that preceded it. • "Master, then you" is back: compare your recitation with his, back to back. • Fairer scoring: silence around your voice no longer penalises the last word of the verse. • When a score cannot be taken, the screen says so — instead of blaming a recitation it never heard. • Buttons are easier to reach in the exercises.

Recite a verse out loud: the app corrects you word by word and shows the exact place to start again. Tajwid lights up inside the verse while you read, every rule with its source. Find a verse by reciting it, and memorize with the text hidden. Your reviews come back when your memory starts to let go.

A guided fresh start. The app now welcomes you in nine steps: you say where you stand, you see tajwīd in colour, and you're corrected from the very first verse — with sources, Ibn al-Jazarī and al-Jamzurī. Three titles you have to earn — Mubtadī, Mutawassiṭ, Mutqin. Nothing is handed out: they're won through your consistency AND the verses that genuinely stick. A title you've earned never drops. A tajwīd quiz on all 22 rules, counting towards your reviews. A surah report that counts your letters, with the hadith of Tirmidhī. And an app with substance: flat black gives way to a tinted night and the khātam, the eight-pointed star. The Apple Watch app wasn't translated at all — that's fixed: it now speaks all 64 languages of Tilāwa.

The product page is fixed: the screenshots now show Tilawa itself. The "How it works" screen is finally translated into your language.
