Plan your day. When a task starts, the apps that take your time lock themselves. When it ends, they come back. Tikku does this with the app closed, so there is nothing to remember and nothing to start.
App blockers take hours away from your phone and cannot tell you what to do with them. Planners lay out a beautiful day and cannot hold it together at 9:03. Tikku is one app where the plan and the block are the same thing.
PLAN THE DAY
- Timeline: your day laid out by hour, with everything that has no time yet grouped above it
- At a time, or anytime: not everything needs an hour
- Later: a list for tasks with no date. No date, no pressure
- Repeats: daily, weekdays, weekends, weekly, monthly, or a custom rule
- Sub-tasks: break a task into steps and tick them off inside a focus session
- Quick add: ready-made routines, from Deep work to Wind down, that arrive with their times, repeats and blocking already set
- Ends on its own: for meals, commutes and the parts of your day that are not to-dos. It runs from start to finish and closes itself, with no checkbox
IT LOCKS ITSELF
- Blocking belongs to the task, not to a separate schedule you also have to maintain
- Block everything, everything except a short list, or only the few apps that get you. Apps, categories and websites
- It runs with Tikku closed. iOS raises the shield at the start of the window and the shield names the task you are meant to be doing
- Presets: save a set of apps once and reuse it on any task or session
- Flexible: pause for 1 to 15 minutes whenever you need it, and end a run early 3 times a week
- Strict: one 15 minute exception a week, and nothing else changes while it runs. Not the times, not the blocking, not the task
- Every way out is held down for a few seconds, so it stays a decision instead of a reflex

BUILT FOR HOW ATTENTION ACTUALLY WORKS
Tikku externalizes the part of planning that is hardest to hold in your head: starting, switching, and not drifting. If you have ADHD, or you have never been formally diagnosed and know that a plan alone has never been enough, this is the part of the app that is for you. The plan does not need you to enforce it.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Blocking runs entirely on your phone. Your app activity never leaves your device
- Your screen time data is read by iOS and shown to you. It is never uploaded
- The apps you choose to block stay on the device that chose them
- No account required. Tikku works fully signed out. Sign in only if you want your tasks backed up and synced
- Always your call: blocking is opt-in per task and per session, and you can end it any time
WHAT YOU NEED
Tikku uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) to block apps, which means blocking is iPhone and iPad only, and you grant permission once. Everything else works without it.

Tikku is free to use. Tikku Pro unlocks custom blocking lists and presets, blocking on every task, Strict mode, sub-tasks, ready-made routines, and backup and sync across your devices, with a free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be canceled any time in your Apple settings.
