RAVIN 1.0.6 brings smarter severe weather warning navigation, stronger privacy protections, and improvements to how your iPhone monitors hazardous weather. WARNINGS TAKE YOU STRAIGHT TO THE STORM When a tornado, severe thunderstorm, or other weather warning is issued, RAVIN makes it easier to see what's happening. Tap the warning badge, select a warning, and RAVIN automatically switches to the NEXRAD radar covering that storm. The map adjusts to show both the radar data and the entire warning area, giving you immediate context for the threat. YOUR LOCATION. YOUR PRIVACY. We've redesigned how RAVIN handles your location and personal information. • Your location stays on your iPhone and is never transmitted to RAVIN's servers. • No device identifiers or personal usage information are collected. • No advertising, analytics, or user tracking. • RAVIN's App Store privacy disclosure now reflects "Data Not Collected." SMARTER WEATHER WARNING MONITORING Warning notifications now rely on your iPhone checking National Weather Service information directly. For the fastest available alerts, enable Weather Monitoring. RAVIN checks for new warnings approximately every one to two minutes while monitoring is active. Pro's server-pushed warning notifications are temporarily paused while we redesign them to preserve location privacy. They will return in a future update. SIMPLER SUBSCRIPTION LINKING Support Codes have been replaced with Link My Subscription. You can now link your subscription at ravinradar.com using the Order ID from your App Store receipt. RAVIN Watch for Apple Watch • Live radar and National Weather Service warnings on your wrist, free. • Pro adds the Meteorologist (nearby airport observations), the Radar Chronograph (live radar with a sweeping seconds hand) and the Barograph (your watch's barometer). • Pro Plus adds lightning around you, with a tap on the wrist when lightning is within 6 miles. While you're driving, flashes fade within minutes, so the plot stays accurate as you move. Warning alerts pushed within seconds (Pro) • Tornado, severe thunderstorm and flash flood warnings at your location arrive as soon as they're issued. • Optional "Follow me with RAVIN closed" keeps alerts following you while the app isn't open.
