Fixed a rare case where sharing a video right after opening the app could save the same trip twice. Results now settle reliably after every scan. Flags for 105 more countries.

Every place now carries a line from the video it came from, what to order, when to go, what to avoid sitting just above your own notes. It appears only when the post actually said something about that place, and says so plainly when it didn't. A trip someone shares with you can now be kept. One tap files every place into your own map, by city. Signing out on one device no longer signs you out everywhere else. If the app had been logging you out on its own, that's why. Mistyped your email address? We'll spot the likely slip before your account is created. Opening a day in Apple Maps now says what it can do: Apple can only take you to the first stop, so the button says so. Google still gets the whole route. Place lookups now run on our own servers rather than from your phone, which keeps our keys off your device.

Shared trips now open straight in the app when you have it installed, instead of opening a web page. Routes now open on foot. Apple Maps was planning your day by car, so a 1.8 km walk through a town centre came out as a 5 km drive. On iPhone you can also choose whether a route opens in Apple Maps or in Google Maps. Links that cannot be scanned are recognised before they cost you anything. Paste an Instagram story, a highlight or a profile and the app tells you what to open instead, rather than running a scan and reporting that it found nothing. Your trips are ordered by what you last worked on rather than by when you made them. Adding places to a trip counts as working on it, so a scan that fills a city you already had brings it back to the top instead of leaving it where it was. A search field appears once you have more than a handful. Creating a trip now needs only a city. The name is optional and takes the city's name if you leave it blank. Fixed: the tracking permission question could come back on later launches after you had already answered it. Fixed: when a purchase could not go through, the app blamed the network whatever the real cause was. It now says what actually happened, and tells you when signing in again is what is needed. Fixed: staying in the app for a long stretch could leave your session stale, which showed up as saves and scans failing until you reopened the app. Fixed: sharing a trip put the link in the message twice.

Every spot now remembers where it came from. Open a place and you will find the TikTok or Instagram post that recommended it, its creator, and a still from the video, so you can watch it again before you go. Notes are back where you can reach them. Tap any spot in a trip to write what you want to remember about it, and see it straight from the list. A new three-screen introduction that shows what feedtrip does instead of describing it. Sign-in problems now say what went wrong. If a password is too short or an email is already taken, the screen tells you, instead of doing nothing. Saving a note or reordering a trip is now immediate. Importing a video from your camera roll has been removed. It relied on a service we no longer run, and every place people actually save comes from a link.

Plan your day by category, so you can build a food-only afternoon or head straight for the museums. Select several places at once to delete them, and get a heads-up when a link brings in somewhere you have already saved. A rewritten Help & FAQ that actually answers things, Google Maps links included. Your places now appear as soon as they are found, instead of after everything is filed. Fixes: sharing a link no longer counts as several scans, subscriptions bought on the App Store unlock straight away, and opening a saved itinerary no longer closes the app.
