Creating a 3D model from a photo or a text now takes one credit, from the first model. With no credit, the button on Create with AI opens the credit store, with the single credit first. For your first model, the button shows that credit's price. Credits you already bought and Pro monthly credits work exactly as before. Opening your files, the catalog, the 3D viewer and AR placement are unchanged.

Home now starts with what you came for: browse 3D models, open a 3D file, or create one with AI. Your recent models sit right under. When a model you created is ready, it shows in 3D and one tap opens it. Opening your model is always free. Need more? Three extra generations are offered right there, as a single payment with no subscription. "Remove the watermark" is now at the top of the Store: one purchase, for good.

Home now opens on a velvet sofa turning live in 3D on the studio stage. The camera cranes down onto it as the app opens, and rises over it as you scroll. Tap Explore the sofa to open it in the viewer at its real size, ready to place in your room. The Prism sample on Home now turns on the same dark studio stage. Fix: velvet models no longer open black.

The app is now called 3D AR Model Viewer. GLB and glTF files now open, including a .zip with the .gltf and its textures: use Open a 3D file on Home or in your Library, or "Open with" from Files and Mail. Each one is ready to place in your room. Models appear on a new studio stage: a floor that softly reflects them, a horizon, and a short camera move as they arrive. Opening a model from Home now grows it out of its tile in one continuous motion. Fixes: the Update button shows the download as it happens, and every screen now counts AI generations in credits.

The app is now called SceneView: 3D & AR Viewer. "Open in AR on your phone" links now open the model right in the app: GLB, glTF and USDZ files are downloaded, added to your Library and shown in 3D, ready to place in your room. Open USDZ and Reality files from Files, Mail or Safari: SceneView now appears under "Open with" and in the share sheet, and the model opens in the viewer. Home puts opening your own 3D file first, with your recent models on a shelf. Share a model as one clean link that opens straight in the app. Browse opens on picks for your home, and listings leave out weapons and placeholder titles. When today's free generations are used up, the app now asks you to come back tomorrow. Fixes: in dark mode the 3D viewer fills the whole screen behind the bars, the home screen no longer hides content under the tab bar, and the update prompt fits every iPhone at every text size.

Dark mode is fixed: cards, panels and input fields now stand out clearly against the page on every screen. Screen and component transitions are consistent across the app, and they follow your Reduce Motion setting.

The studio is rebuilt around your own work. Home leads with search, create and import, plus the model you opened last. One consistent identity across every screen, and screen transitions that follow your Reduce Motion setting. Open, create, check real size, place in AR and export — the same five things, in one place. Existing credits, purchases and subscriber prices are unchanged.

• Opening a 3D file of your own is free — no account, no paywall. The empty Library now leads with "Open a 3D file", and the file you pick opens straight into the viewer. • The fit check starts with a worked example instead of a blank form: a named two-seat sofa, 160 × 90 × 85 cm, with its dimensions already filled in. Edit any field and it becomes your own object. • That screen is shorter, too. The hero and the repeated introduction are gone, and the room comparison is folded away until you ask for it, so the "Check the fit" button is always in reach. • The viewer lost its mode selector. One "See in my room" action sits at the bottom, with width, depth and height labelled above it — or "Real size not set" when there is none. Sharing, export, report and Record AR moved under a labelled More. • A model with a real size set now measures its width along the right axis, so the numbers under it match the object in front of you.

What's new in this update: • The answer before the camera — pick your object and your space right on the home screen and the verdict is there: Fits, Tight, or Doesn't fit. Two taps, no typing, and no camera permission asked. "See it in my room" is still one tap away when you want to see it at true size. • Presets that show their size before you tap — 34 everyday objects across sofas, beds, wardrobes, appliances, TVs, tables and boxes, plus six spaces: four interior door widths, an entrance door and a lift car. Every card prints its width, depth and height, and says where the number comes from. • A clearer fit rule. Leave Depth empty and we answer "does it go through?" — the object may be turned on its side, but a diagonal is never counted. Fill Depth in and we answer "does it go in?", side for side, as placed. One 2 cm tolerance, printed on screen instead of hidden, and every side reports its own margin: "Depth: 5 cm short" rather than a bare no. • Export a model you generated. Keep the file it already comes with for free, or convert it to STL, 3MF, OBJ or GLB for 1 credit. Choose a print height — 80, 100, 150 or 200 mm, or your own between 20 and 400 — and send it straight to your slicer. Re-exporting a format you already paid for is free, and a download that arrives incomplete is never charged. • Fixes: the tab bar no longer sits over the fit-check screen, and the 3D viewer frames the whole model instead of opening zoomed in.
