TR4 now works in portrait on iPad. • A layout built for the taller screen: the four tracks and their waveforms sit above a module in two rows, with the clock, metronome/input label, VU meter and disc on top and the transport below. • Rotate whenever you like. The layout follows the iPad in both orientations. • The iOS status bar is hidden on iPad, and the timeline is taller in portrait, with more room for the finger. Fixed • With the metronome on, RECORD waits for a 3-2-1 count-in before it starts. On iPad that count was invisible, so the button looked unresponsive for a few seconds. The countdown now shows on screen, as it does on iPhone.

TR4 now runs on iPad. iPad • Landscape layout for the larger screen: all four tracks on one page, each with its own waveform and crop handles. • VOLUME, PAN, MUTE, SOLO and DELETE sit in the track row. Hold VOLUME or PAN and drag to set the value. • Projects open first: start a new one, open a recent one, or swipe a row to delete it. • Hold the disc to change its skin. • MIDI start and stop drive the transport, so a connected device can open and close a take. • Auto-record on USB signal, LOOP, metronome, transcription and export work as they do on iPhone. iPhone and iPad • PLAY at the end of the tape now rewinds and plays from the start. • A take recorded before the first sound on the tape now plays. The audio was already written to the track, but the tape still began at the old point, so nothing before it could be heard. • Waveforms are redrawn with clearer bars, and each track shows its volume on the wave. Multitrack over USB is still early support: with an interface that has more than two inputs, each armed track records its own channel.

Layout Fixed controls and dialogs that could be positioned off-screen on some devices and screen sizes. Multitrack recording Early support for recording several tracks at once from a class-compliant USB interface, one input per track. Assignments can be changed in Settings › Input Channels. Still being refined across devices — feedback is welcome. Editing LOOP is now available on the main screen, not only in Edit Audio. Trimming works as a window over the take: audio outside the handles is silenced rather than removed, so it can always be brought back. Export Stems are exported over a shared timeline and with the same duration, so they line up when dropped into a DAW.
