Onward is a personal record for anyone living with chronic myeloid leukaemia. It was built by someone with CML who wanted one simple place to follow their own journey, after looking for an app that did it all and not finding one. EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE • Appointments, with the clinic, clinician, your notes, and any letters you want to attach • Blood results, including your full blood count and chemistry, with charts over time • BCR-ABL molecular results, plotted so you can see the trend at a glance • Medication, with a daily log for once a day or several times a day, your streak, pauses, and how many tablets you have left • Questions for your care team, so nothing is forgotten in the room • Your care team, and how it has changed over the years YOUR JOURNEY, NOT JUST YOUR NUMBERS Onward keeps a timeline of your treatment, from diagnosis onwards. Milestones are marked and quietly celebrated, and you can add your own personal moments, with photos, for the things that matter but are not clinical. First day back at work. A holiday you were not sure you would take. A race you finished. On iPad, and on iPhone held sideways, that timeline becomes a book you turn page by page, with a page of its own for every appointment, result and moment. READY FOR YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT Onward turns any visit into a single page you can print or take on your phone. For a visit still to come, it is a prep sheet: where your numbers stand, what has changed since you were last seen, how the tablets have gone, how you have been feeling, and your questions with room to write the answers. For a visit that has been, it becomes a record of it: what was measured that day, what you asked, and your own notes. WHEN YOU NEED IT ON PAPER Produce a clear PDF whenever you need one: an overview, all your results, your BCR-ABL trend, your bloods, your medication history, how you have been feeling, or a year in review. Share it with your team, or keep it for yourself. OPTIONAL EXTRAS, ALL YOURS TO SWITCH ON • Reminders for medication, appointments, and running low on tablets • Symptoms and how you are feeling, tracked as gently or as thoroughly as you like • Activity, with walks and workouts, and steps, sleep, temperature and Apple Watch wrist temperature from Apple Health • A treatment free remission section, if that is where your journey takes you • A home screen widget, and Face ID to lock the app • A glossary, for the words nobody explains the first time PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your data belongs to you. It stays on your device and, if you leave iCloud Sync on, syncs privately through your own iCloud account. There are no accounts to create and no server of ours holding your health information, because there is no server. We do not collect it, see it, or share it. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking. You can export everything as a backup whenever you like. FREE, AND IT WILL STAY THAT WAY Every feature is available to everyone. There is no paywall and nothing is locked. If Onward helps you and you would like to leave a tip, there is a Support Onward screen, and supporters get a few decorative extras as a thank you. That is all it changes. Onward is a record keeping tool, not a medical device. It does not give medical advice, and it is no substitute for your own care team. Always follow their guidance.
