Weather Lab is a weather app for people who want to understand the weather, not just trust one forecast model. Most weather apps show you one forecast and hide how it was made. Weather Lab shows you the weather models behind it: ECMWF, GFS, ICON, ARPÈGE, ALADIN and, in the US, HRRR and NBM. You can see where they agree and where they don't, and decide for yourself what's coming. COMPARE MODELS • Put several models on one chart and see how far apart they are • Tap any hour to read each model's value side by side • A comparison summary shows how much the models agree over the coming days • Every section on your screen can use a different model BUILD YOUR OWN FORECAST SCREEN • Choose from many sections: current conditions, hourly charts and tables, long-term outlook, precipitation, cloud cover, a detailed day view, sun & moon, air quality and more • Add, remove, reorder and resize sections, and group them into tabs • See real measurements from the nearest weather station next to the forecast (Czechia, Germany, USA, Canada) RADAR, SATELLITE AND MAP • Worldwide rain radar with the last 6 hours of history and a short-term nowcast • Satellite cloud imagery • A map that fits in with the rest of your forecast screen ALERTS • Official severe-weather warnings for your location • Your own alert rules, like "notify me when wind gusts exceed 60 km/h" or "frost tonight" • Quiet hours so alerts don't wake you up MAKE IT YOURS • Every chart is drawn by a small template that you can open and edit • Write your own sections in JavaScript with a built-in code editor and a full coding manual • Share sections with a link, publish them in the community store, or install ones other people made HOME SCREEN WIDGETS • Widgets use the same templates as the app, so you can customize them too • Several sizes and text scales • Widgets can show a saved place or follow your current location ALSO • Metric and imperial units • Light and dark themes • Optional account to sync your custom sections across devices • Optional subscription to remove ads Weather Lab is made for weather enthusiasts, wind-sports fans, hikers, photographers, gardeners, and anyone who has ever wondered why two weather apps disagree.
