The DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) is the official Spanish-language diploma issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education. Recognised in more than 100 countries and valid for life, it certifies your level on the CEFR scale, from A1 to C2. Unlike a scored test, a diploma is passed or not: the result is APTO (pass) or NO APTO.
PrepaEspaña prepares you for the level you are aiming at, with exercises calibrated on the official format of each level and realistic materials built for the app.
WHAT THE APP CONTAINS
▸ 1,448 reading and listening questions across all six levels A1 to C2, 678 of them at each paper's official format
▸ Natural Spanish audio, available offline
▸ Realistic documents: emails, articles, notices, everyday texts, forums, interviews
▸ Choose your target level (DELE A1 to C2): the app adapts the format and the estimate
▸ 18 full mock exams (3 per level), with each paper's official structure and timings, a single listening play as on exam day
▸ Writing and speaking tasks at each level's official format, with photos, examiner audio and model answers
▸ 600 vocabulary cards, audio and spaced repetition
▸ Smart review that spots your weak points and works them first
▸ An estimate per paper, recalibrated after every session
▸ A custom mock exam: your themes, your number of questions, your own timer or the official pace of the exam
PASSING THE DIPLOMA, NOT JUST "SCORING"
The DELE is decided across two groups of papers, not on an overall average. At levels A1 to C1, Group 1 covers reading and written expression; Group 2 covers listening and oral expression. You must reach the minimum in each group: a good total is not enough if one group falls short. (The DELE C2 has its own structure, with three papers.)
EVERY ANSWER, EXPLAINED
Each explanation points to the key sentence in the document and says why the other options are wrong. That is the elimination method, the one that wins marks.
AN INTERFACE IN 4 LANGUAGES
Interface in Spanish, French, Arabic (full right-to-left) and English. The content stays in Spanish, the language of the exam.

IMPORTANT
An unofficial practice app published by AZSoft. It does not represent any government body. DELE and Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera are trademarks of the Instituto Cervantes. Not affiliated with the Instituto Cervantes or the Spanish Ministry of Education. The formats and marking criteria are those published by the Instituto Cervantes; the questions, audio, documents, explanations and task briefs are written by our team and reproduce no official exam paper. The app's estimates are educational; only the official Instituto Cervantes result is valid.
Ratings & Reviews
New: the app now follows the DELE's real format across all six levels, A1 to C2. 678 questions at each paper's official format: multiple choice, matching, gap-fill and, at C1 and C2, multiple-selection questions. 18 full mock exams (3 per level), timed at the official pace. Writing and speaking tasks at each level's format, with photos, examiner audio and model answers. The result is an estimate per paper, never a single Apto verdict on comprehension alone.
