New collections: NASA, Album Art and Museum. Cleaner search. Smoother mood board scrolling.

Your first canvas opens with a picture ready to trace, and Finished plays back every stroke. Colors you pick stick the moment you pick them. The full toolset is there on iPad from the start. Cleaner headers, bigger tap targets, and a dark canvas surround in dark mode.

Watch any drawing redraw itself, stroke by stroke, and share the replay. If someone sent you a picture to trace, you can send your drawing back to them when you're done. Plus fixes to the takedown and publish controls, and to the ideas feed on iPad.

Fixes a bug that could leave the ideas feed empty, plus smaller fixes.

Links from drawsta.com now open straight into the picture, ready to trace. And you can try drawsta without installing it.

Two new pens: a micro felt brush pen that goes from hairline to fat with pressure, and a multi colour ballpoint you tap to change colour. The pen tray scrolls now. The mood board shows far more of the feed, and refreshes when you open it. Plus fixes for dead taps on Home and for missing trace pictures.

Fixes a crash when opening a drawing on devices with a large library.

Home has a new grid of your drawings, and it looks right in dark mode. Photos you trace now sync across your devices, so the picture you're drawing from is there on your iPad and your iPhone. The mood board opens faster and scrolls smoothly. Plus a batch of fixes.

Fixes Home thumbnails and a bug where a traced photo could attach to the wrong drawing.

Home shows your paper. Every canvas tile now renders the paper you drew on — dotted, grid, cream or plain — with your drawing on top. Fixed: drawing thumbnails could be missing on iPhone, leaving tiles blank. Ideas: a better mix across sources, and faster search.
