Clearo shows you how long passport control will take — before you get there. With the EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) now in force, non-EU travellers face biometric checks that can add real time at the border. Clearo turns that uncertainty into a simple number: the live or predicted wait at passport control, for arrivals and departures, at 409 Schengen airports. HOW IT WORKS Live waits come from travellers reporting the queue right now — the most accurate signal there is. Predicted waits are estimated from how many non-EU flights are arriving around now, each roughly a planeload of people needing biometric checks. Every figure is clearly labelled and colour-coded (green / amber / red), so you always know what you're looking at. TRACK YOUR FLIGHT Enter your flight number and Clearo anchors the estimate to your actual arrival or departure time, with a clear read on how long the entry or exit check is likely to take. HONEST BY DESIGN At big hubs, passport control is split across terminals — Clearo shows an airport-wide estimate and tells you where the non-Schengen (EES) checks are. If you're EES-registered with a biometric passport, self-service kiosks and eGates are usually faster than the staffed desk — Clearo flags that too. PRIVATE No account. No ads. No tracking. Location is used only on your device to find nearby airports when you report — it's never tied to who you are. Clearo covers every Schengen airport and is free to use.
