THE FEELING
• A realistic two-part beat: a soft swell and its answer, not a mechanical buzz
• Tune how it lands: round like a sleeping chest, or a little crisper
• Set the strength, since pillows soak up a lot
• Choose the pace, 40 to 90 beats per minute; a slow resting heart by default
• Drift: sessions begin a touch quicker and gently ease down as you settle in

THE NIGHT

• iPhone haptics only play while the app is open, so the screen stays on. It dims to near-black to protect your battery. Start the night charged.
• Never charge the phone under a pillow. Lubb reminds you once, and warns you if it ever notices you charging mid-session.
• A whisper of a battery readout is there when you tap, and gone when you don't.
• Lubb needs an iPhone. The beat comes from the Taptic Engine, so it can't run on iPad or Mac.
