What's new in 1.2.5: • Privacy Choices: in the European Economic Area, you decide whether PhotoCleanse uses analytics and ad measurement. You can change it anytime in Settings > Privacy Choices. • PhotoCleanse may ask once whether it can track, so we can see which of our ads work. Your photos never leave your iPhone.

What's new in 1.2.4: • Fewer interruptions: PhotoCleanse now asks for an App Store rating less often.

What's new in 1.2.3: • Behind-the-scenes improvements that show us which parts of PhotoCleanse work well and what to improve next. Your photos still stay on your iPhone.

What's new in 1.2.2: • New photo viewer: photos open from their tile. Swipe between them, pinch or double-tap to zoom, and drag down to close. • iCloud photos look sharp: a preview appears at once while a sharper version downloads. • Faster scans: large libraries scan at the same speed from start to finish. • More precise matching: every level groups fewer look-alike photos that aren't duplicates. After the update, your groups are rebuilt once from the saved analysis and selections are cleared. • Switching tabs no longer restarts the scan: PhotoCleanse checks again only when your photos change. • A cleanup bar deletes the photos you selected in every group with one tap. • Links from PhotoCleanse events on the App Store now open the app. • Small improvements and fixes.

What's new in 1.2.1: • Privacy Policy and Terms of Use in Settings now open directly from photocleanse.app, and tapping a link on these pages no longer reloads them.

What's new in 1.2: • A new introduction shows how each feature works before you start. • The free plan now includes every feature, with 3 duplicate-group cleanups, 1 photo compression and 1 Swipe deck each month. • Try PhotoCleanse Pro free for 3 days on the weekly or yearly plan. We remind you the day before your trial ends. • A redesigned Pro screen and a new subscription page in Settings. • On iOS 26, the first full-library scan keeps running after you leave the app and shows its progress. • Bug fixes and reliability improvements.

Bug fixes and reliability improvements: • Before deleting similar photos, PhotoCleanse checks again that none of them have changed. • Compress no longer suggests copies it has already compressed.

New: Swipe Review your library one photo at a time. Swipe left to delete, right to keep. PhotoCleanse deletes nothing until you check your pile and confirm. Pick a deck: Shuffle, Screenshots, or a month. The free plan includes one Shuffle deck a day, and Pro unlocks every deck. iCloud photos show a preview while the full image downloads, so you can keep swiping. Fixes • BEST keeps the full-resolution original over a smaller copy. • Select All Duplicates keeps your favorites. • The duplicate scan skips a photo it can't read and checks it again next time. • PhotoCleanse recovers compression and deletion after Photos stops responding. • We fixed a crash on iOS 26.
