- Ads are now fairer: if an ad fails on our side and you couldn't finish it, you still get the reward. - The ad consent screen for players in the EU/UK now appears correctly on iPhone. You can change your choice later under "Ad consent" in Settings. - The "Emperor of the Deep" badge now covers all five underground realms (in the main game, clear the R35 underground). New - "Keen Eye", a new high-end item. Use it and the world slows to a quarter speed for three seconds - save it for a tricky jump, or for when enemies close in. Each level adds one more use per run. - A new Combo category in the ranking. - You can now register a name. Once registered, your score is saved without typing it in each time. Registering is entirely optional. - The controller guide is now its own illustrated page (Settings > Controller). Changes - In boss fights the camera no longer rises so far that the boss's feet leave the screen. - Reordering items with a controller could show the same message twice.

Fixes - With a controller connected, the login bonus shown right after launch could not be claimed, and input reached the screen behind the dialog. - Dropping through a platform and then bouncing off an enemy could leave you unable to land on any platform. - "Watch ad" could leave you waiting with no response. It now falls back immediately and shows a loading indicator. - The shop list skipped "Egg Exchange" and jumped straight to "Back". Changes - Tuned late-game gap widths and enemy counts for top players. - The camera now follows you upward on the surface too, so it is easier to see above high platforms. - Reorder your items with a controller (hold X to grab, then L/R to swap).

* Play with a controller A connected gamepad now takes you all the way through. Move and jump, use an item (Square), unleash the special move "Piyo Flash" (Triangle), switch items (L1 / R1), and navigate menus and shops - all from the pad. The full layout is in Settings > Controller. * A fifth underground stage: "The Blazing Stairway" A new depth that splits into three routes. Take the beams above, cross the sea of lava on moving platforms in the middle, or fight through the crowded kiln floor below. The route you pick changes the challenge. * Underground Mode now has 5 stages The new stage joins the time-trial Underground Mode as well. Plus small refinements, including sound effects for cursor movement.

Other - The app icon has been redesigned.

Bug fixes - Fixed an issue where opening the shop on the title screen while an adventure was suspended (Adventure Bookmark) could display items you did not actually own. - In that state it was also possible to sell items that had already been used up during the run, which incorrectly increased your coins. This has been fixed. - Your suspended save data itself is not affected. You can continue any existing Adventure Bookmark exactly as before. This update contains the fixes above only. Nothing about how the game plays has changed.

- Most of the artwork has been redrawn The shop interiors and the farewell scene, the standing soba stall, the strawberry shortcake, the manju, the underground crone's shop and the Piyo Flash cut-in (including the eye close-up) have all been redrawn. Her face, her age and the pixel texture are now consistent from scene to scene. - Ninja outfit The standing pose was slightly too orange, so it now matches the walking and jumping frames. - Pipe rooms When your pouch is full, you can now swap an item you are carrying instead of having the pickup sold automatically. - Balance The cap on enemy speed in later rounds has been raised a little, and the diving "Akabane" now appears gradually more often as the rounds go on, so the late game keeps its edge. - Fixes The "you cannot afford it" artwork sometimes did not appear. The HUD and the item slots were drawn on top of the pause menu.

- Golden Eggs: the Dark Priestess now drops one. Stages give one a day, with a second chance if you miss out - The Revival Potion costs more each time you buy it - The item column no longer grows past your slots - Bonus rooms mark items you cannot carry as "turns into money" - The Dark Crow's warning is gone; its feathers are easier to see - Back buttons are grey everywhere - Fixed: HUD over the outfit list / chests showing no reward / pouch items vanishing / "Continue" left after a save delete
