Milesta: Life Journal Timeline
Private Diary & Memory Keeper
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The biggest update yet: four designs for your path, new year posters, your year as a story, redesigned Insights, Siri, and backups to your own iCloud.
Milesta is a private journal for the milestones of a grown-up life: new jobs, moves, travel, love, health wins and big trips. Instead of writing every day, you log what actually mattered, and Milesta lays it out as a winding path through your years — yours to scroll, relive and keep.
YOUR PATH — Log tweet-length milestones with photos, places, notes and links, and watch your journey wind through the months and years.
FOUR DESIGNS, NINE PALETTES — Draw your path as Classic cards beside a winding line, a Scrapbook of polaroids and notes, a Memory Map with your photos as stops, or Wrapped: frosted glass along a glowing path. Then pick one of nine palettes.
STORY REPLAY — Press play and your whole story returns full screen, one milestone at a time. Tall photos fill the screen; wide ones stay whole over a soft blur of themselves.
RECAPS & POSTERS — Every month, half-year and year comes back as something worth sharing: a monthly card with its own calendar, and a year poster in two layouts — a gallery of your best photos, or the whole year as a winding path — in six styles, light and dark.
PLAY YOUR YEAR — Your yearly recap as a full-screen story: how many milestones, your busiest month, the areas of your life, your places and your photos, ending on your poster.
INSIGHTS — Your year at a glance, your streaks, your busiest months, your categories and your places, with every year side by side.
SIRI & SHORTCUTS — Say "Add a milestone in Milesta" or "Play my story in Milesta", or use Milesta's actions in the Shortcuts app.
YOUR DATA, PORTABLE — Export a full backup any time: every milestone, photo and category in one file. Automatic monthly backups too — on your device, or in your own iCloud Drive, ready to restore on any of your devices.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN — No accounts. No ads. Your milestones stay on your device, protected by Face ID if you wish, and nothing leaves it unless you share it or back it up to your own iCloud. Anonymous usage statistics only if you opt in.
FREE — Your first 20 milestones with photos, places, notes and links; the Classic design with the Terracotta palette; Story Replay; your newest monthly recap; your milestone count and days on the path; posters of single milestones; widgets, search, Face ID lock, Siri and backups, including iCloud Drive.
MILESTA PREMIUM (optional subscription) — Unlimited milestones, every recap and the story of your year, sharing recap posters and cards as images and Stories, every design, palette and card style, and full Insights. Monthly or yearly, cancel anytime.
