Tember is a darkroom, not a filter.
Most camera apps hand you a photo the phone has already decided about —
sharpened, brightened, smoothed. Tember starts somewhere else. It captures a
deliberately neutral photograph with minimal processing, then develops it under
one of thirty emulated film stocks. What you get is a print from a negative,
not a filter on a JPEG.
THIRTY FILM LOOKS
Five families — Portrait, Indoor & Night, Travel & Landscape, Black & White and
Creative — alongside the Natural base. Swipe through them on the photograph
itself and watch the whole frame change. Every look is a colour transform built
from measurement, not a preset stack.
THE NEGATIVE IS KEPT
Your capture is stored as a negative and re-developed every time you change a
look. Nothing is baked in. Crop it, change the stock, come back a year later
and develop it differently — the original sensor frame is always there.
CONTROLS THAT DO ONE THING EACH
Strength, grain, halation, skin protection, exposure, temperature, tint,
highlights and shadows. No auto-enhance, no hidden second opinion.

No account. No sign-in. No cloud. No analytics, no tracking, no data collected

Tember applies minimal processing with slight usability protections — it does
not claim to do none. Every export carries a record of exactly how it was
developed.
