What’s New Thank you for your continued support. This update focuses on board controls, volume notifications, update reminders, and overall match flow, making each game smoother, quieter, and less disruptive. Silent Mode and Volume Notifications Background music now properly respects your device’s silent mode and will remain muted when silent mode is enabled. Lightweight notifications now appear when you use the side volume buttons after entering the main screen or adjust the background music volume in Settings. Audio session reconfiguration has also been reduced to help prevent stuttering while adjusting volume. Version Update Reminder The app now checks the App Store for a newer version after the home screen appears. When an update is available, a prompt will be shown with the option to be reminded later. Update prompts will not interrupt active matches or replays and will appear after they finish. Settings Improvements The version number is now read directly from the installed app bundle, ensuring that the displayed version is always accurate. Improved 15×15 Board Controls The 15×15 board now supports precise placement with a long-press magnifier, pinch-to-zoom, drag-to-pan, and double-tap reset. A new tutorial has been added to help players quickly learn these larger-board controls. Touch handling during zooming has also been improved to reduce accidental taps on controls such as Undo. Challenge Setup and Match Start Improvements The Start Challenge button has been repositioned, and a clearer board-size selection section has been added. The transition into a match has been improved to reduce white edges and layout shifts. An issue that could still start a match after returning to the previous screen has also been fixed. Match Interface Improvements When the board is enlarged, it can now naturally cover the bottom “Play Again” and “Undo” area, keeping the focus on the board and reducing visual obstruction. Stability and Detail Fixes Improved update prompt overlays, delayed update prompts during matches, accidental-touch prevention while zooming, volume notifications, and match-start cancellation logic for better overall stability. This update continues to follow the idea of “two quiet games”: prioritizing the board, keeping notifications lightweight, and reducing interruptions so every match feels more focused and comfortable.
