Manage your recipes, import them from TikTok, Instagram & co., recipe websites or a photo, generate dishes with AI. Plan the whole week and discover recipes from the community.
Import recipes – from social media, websites, photos, or ingredients
- From social media: Found a recipe on TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest or YouTube? Send it via “Share → Tavolino” – Tavolino picks out the ingredients and steps. If the post links to a recipe blog, Tavolino fetches the recipe straight from there. If the recipe only appears in the video or image, just share a screenshot.
- From recipe websites: Share or paste the link to a recipe page – Tavolino extracts ingredients and steps automatically.
- From photo: Snap a cookbook page, recipe card or dish – or pick a screenshot from your gallery. AI creates the recipe.
- From ingredients: Type or dictate your ingredients – AI invents a matching recipe with quantities, steps, and timers.
- AI cooking steps: Enter a short description and the ingredients – AI writes the step-by-step instructions.

Manage all your favorite recipes in one place – with photos, ingredients, step-by-step instructions, and calories per serving (AI estimate). Sort by category, properties (low-carb, one-pot, meal-prep …), cooking time, or rating.

Share recipes with the Tavolino community and discover dishes from other users – from your region or internationally. Groups with Real-Time Sync
Create private groups with family, your partner, or roommates. The weekly plan and shopping list sync automatically in real time – everyone plans together, everyone sees the same list.
Smart Weekly Meal Planner
Plan your meals for the entire week. The meal planner fills your plan at the push of a button using random distribution – with adjustable ratios of meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan.
Guided Cooking Mode
Cook step by step without scrolling: a large timer ring for each step with a chime at the end, and the screen stays on if you like. At the end, rate the dish with 1–5 stars and an optional photo.
Smart Shopping List
All the ingredients from your weekly plan auto-compiled. Add your own items and check them off.
Automatic Translation
Community recipes are translated into your language automatically. Switch between translation and original with a single tap.
Swipe & Cook – Discovery Mode
Need inspiration? Swipe through community recipes – your favorites land straight in your collection.
Smart Notifications
Push alerts, for example when a cook you follow shares a recipe or someone adds something to your shared shopping list.
Statistics & Device Sync
Track how often you've cooked each dish, and discover the community's trending and top recipes. With optional sign-in (Google/Apple), your stars, cooking history, and recipes stay in sync when switching devices and across multiple devices.
Multilingual
Interface in 9 languages: German, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, and Swedish. Community recipes are additionally translated automatically.
Privacy
Recipes and private data stay local on your device. Only what you actively share, your ratings, and your cooking history are stored server-side – for community interaction and device sync. AI via Google Gemini, translations via Gemini. The app contains ads – 5 free AI requests per week included.
