Skint? is the reselling app for the charity shop and the car boot. Point your camera at the find: clothes, trainers and bags. It works out what you're holding, pulls live eBay comps, takes off the repair estimate and the selling fees, and prints THE MOST YOU SHOULD PAY on a till receipt. It takes seconds, so you've decided before you're anywhere near the till.
READ THE LABEL
Comps for "red Adidas shirt" are worthless. Photograph the inside label as well as the front and the deep scan reads the sizes and style codes off it, then names the actual model. Football shirts are what it knows best: club, season, and which kit, home, away or third, with comps matched to that exact shirt. Trainers get the style code read off the tongue or the care label, so the comps are that exact pair in its named colourway.
DAMAGED? SCAN IT ANYWAY
A lifted sole or a missing button comes back as a repair cost in pounds, taken off before the verdict. Some damaged stock still pays, and now you can see which.
SHOW YOUR WORKING
The receipt lists the comps the price came from. Tap one and the real eBay listing opens. They're live asking prices, not solds, and the receipt says so. And when it can't price something confidently, it tells you that instead of guessing.
COUNT EVERY QUID
Type in the shop's tag price and the receipt shows your profit and a Sticker Score. The home screen keeps a QUIDS IN THIS MONTH total of potential profit, so you can see what your eye is worth.
INTO THE BOOK
Flick the receipt aside and the find files itself as a sticker in your book, the playground swap-album sort. Football shirts come out in club colours. Score 80 or more and the sticker goes holographic. A decent Saturday round, three charity shops and a car boot, fills two new pages.
WHEN IT'S TIME TO SELL
Open the filed receipt and press LIST IT. Out comes a ready-to-paste listing: title, price, condition line, description, trending hashtags and a few seller tips, written the way eBay, Vinted or Depop each want it. Nothing gets posted until you paste it in yourself. Then someone in Dundee buys the shirt, and Saturday you're back on the rails filling the next page.
Skint? Premium is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings.
