Widgets • All four widgets now come in the new extra-large portrait size on iOS 27, with room for more at a glance • The month widget lets you page between months right on the Home Screen, without opening the app • Choose what appears below the calendar in the month widget from Edit Widget • The large month widget now follows your "Start week on" setting • Fixed widget names and descriptions showing up in Chinese on non-Chinese systems • Hidden calendars no longer appear when you add a widget • Fixed the countdown widget failing to display in some cases

Events and invitations • Repeating events now carry a marker in the list, so a weekly standup no longer looks like a one-off • Responding to an invitation now applies to the whole series, not just the occurrence you tapped • When a response can't be saved, LiLiCal says so and offers to open the event in Calendar instead of pretending it worked • Event details now show the source account, your invitation status and the attendee list (tap to expand; the organizer comes first) Event alerts • The event's own alert wins: if the meeting says 30 minutes before, that's when you hear about it • Move a meeting in Calendar or on another device and the alert moves with it • Alerts are also rescheduled across midnight, time zone changes and system clock changes Month view • Selecting a day tells you how far off it is — "in 3 days", "3 days ago" • Non-Chinese interfaces no longer show lunar dates or mainland China's make-up workdays by default. Turn them back on in Settings › Calendar and Settings › Holiday subscriptions • The month widget's dates are larger and bolder, sized to the screen; today's highlight now wraps the date together with its lunar line Also • Calendar, Reminders and Notification permission prompts are localized in all eight languages
