Stop drilling flashcards you keep forgetting. Vocabild turns each German word into a sound-alike keyword and an image your brain won't shake off. Vocabild helps you remember German words by turning each one into a picture you can't forget. Instead of repeating flashcards until they blur together, every word gets a keyword that sounds like it, a short scene, and an illustration linking that sound to the meaning. Fenster sounds like "fence stare." Blume sounds like "bloom." The keyword is an English word your ear already knows, so there is nothing extra to memorise. DER, DIE AND DAS, WITHOUT MEMORISING ARTICLES Every German noun is der, die or das, and there is rarely any logic to which. Tisch, Gabel, Messer. Table, fork, knife. Three genders, no pattern. Vocabild puts the article inside the picture. Three characters appear across every scene: - A deer means der. Deer, der. - A bee means die. Die rhymes with bee. - Glass means das. Das, glass. FREE AND PRO Searching words, reading their mnemonics and browsing starter sets are free and unlimited. What counts is saving a word to your vocabulary. Free accounts can save 10 words. Those 10 are permanent: deleting a saved word does not return the slot. Starter sets are browsable lists, and adding a word from one uses a slot like any other. Pro removes the limit: - Save as many words as you like - Generate more new mnemonics each day - Ask for a different scene whenever one does not land Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple ID.
