RailMind is a touch-first track planner for Kato Unitrack in both N and HO scale. Lay track with your fingers on a pan-and-zoom table, and every piece snaps together exactly where the real Unijoiners do — so any plan you draw is a plan you can actually build. • Kato Unitrack in both N and HO — straights, curves, turnouts and crossings in each, plus bridges, viaducts, the double crossover and the turntable in N, all with verified part numbers • Real snapping — pieces connect only where real track can, at the correct angles • Close-the-loop assist — RailMind ghosts the closing piece and finishes the loop for you, and searches multi-piece routes when the gap needs more than one • Baseboards — set your table size (inches or feet), compose L-shapes, and plan within your real space • Radius-aware parallel track — parallel a curve and it picks the concentric radius (R315 → R348), just like real Kato • Copy, paste, flip, group-move, undo and redo — fast, forgiving editing • A parts list with approximate prices, grouped by Kato part number — record what you already own and it becomes a shopping list of what's left to buy • Grades and elevation — raise a piece, watch the live grade percentage, and see the climb in the 3D view • Rails-only or full-roadbed view, and curve-radius labels • Your plans back up to iCloud and restore on any iPad signed into your Apple Account RailMind is free to try: 10 standard track pieces, 2 turnouts and 2 special pieces per plan, with every feature working and your plans saved either way. One purchase of $29.99 unlocks unlimited pieces forever — a single purchase, not a subscription. No ads, no per-piece fees, no account. iPad only, designed for landscape. Works fully offline. Not an AI tool, not a train controller — just a fast, hands-on way to plan track you'll actually build. RailMind is an independent app. Kato and Unitrack are trademarks of their respective owners; RailMind is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by them.

What's new in 1.1.0 • Smarter loop closing. The close-the-loop assist now routes through turnouts and the wye, and when a loop can't close, RailMind tells you why. • Grades, upgraded. Smooth multi-piece ramps and a new A/B grade tool: pick two points and RailMind sets the climb between them, shown live and in the 3D view. • Layers. Group, show, hide and lock parts of a big plan. • Import RailModeller text plans as editable Kato Unitrack. • Print your plan 1:1 with AirPrint (optional piece labels) and build right over it. • A fresh first-run tour, plus polish throughout: two-finger pan while selecting, a cleaner light/dark toggle, undoable inventory edits, and steadier canvas framing.
