A floor plan from a vendor costs around $150 and takes three days. EdgeFloor takes about ten minutes, and you do it yourself.

The LiDAR scanner already built into your iPhone Pro does the measuring, and you get a clean floor plan with wall lengths, door and window positions, stairs, ceiling height and total area. Open the app and walk the space slowly. EdgeFloor builds the plan as you go, so you can see what it has captured and go back over anything it missed. Scanning slowly is the single habit that makes the measurements accurate. When you finish, review the plan and export.

REQUIREMENTS
EdgeFloor uses the LiDAR scanner, available on iPhone Pro and iPad Pro models. It will not run on devices without it.
Measurements are estimates from a device scan. Verify them before using them for construction, appraisal, legal or contractual purposes.
