What's new in 1.3 • Wide screen, wave with a panel: on an iPad held sideways and on an open iPhone Duo, the wave's sentence and the words you've already got sit beside the game. The translation appears with a tap. • Building sentences without things moving under your finger: the Confirm button now holds its place from the start, dimmed, and lights up with the first word or letter. The options no longer shift. • A fairer basket wave: a word counts as caught while it's inside the basket, even after it passes the rim. And the field is clean, with no lines. • Fixes: rotating the iPad with the game open redraws the screen again, and the wave map opens on the wave where you left off. • Enjoying it? You can now rate Word Fall right from Settings.

What's new in 1.2 • Recorded voice from start to finish. All 1,200 waves, in English and Italian, now have recorded pronunciation, including the culture, feelings, senses and nature chapters that used the system voice before. • Tap a word in your pronunciation score to hear how it sounds. This now works for names and Italian contractions too, like un'acqua. • Building sentences is clearer: the Confirm button shows up as soon as you place the first word or letter. If something is missing, the game shows you the right sentence. • Enjoying Word Fall? You can now rate the app straight from Settings.
