Long-press any of them for its settings. - Long-press an Object in Recents to change its size. - Element cards show real photos of 96 elements. Elements no one has ever seen show the tracks their atoms leave in a detector. - 21 inventions, like the Wheel and the Steam Engine, are made by putting a sapient next to the right material. - Ollie's messages are kept in the Journal under Notebook, System, so you can read one again. - New sounds: electrical parts hum, glass tinkles, acid fizzes, plants rustle, bats chirp and insects buzz. Fixed - Reinstalling the game can no longer replace your progress with an older save. - A battery's + and − marks are on the right ends, and a flipped battery stays flipped in an Object. - A working circuit no longer sets nearby things on fire. - The second round of trivia can no longer be played without its ad. - On iPad in landscape, the keyboard no longer covers the palette search, and tapping the field closes it. - The Welcome back amounts no longer run into their labels. - Blueprint parts wrap instead of shrinking, and the list updates as soon as a build finishes. - Glow effects show on the Low graphics setting. - Names are corrected in Korean, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Russian and Polish.

New - Primordia Lab is now in Arabic, read right to left. - A Today list on the Earth page shows the day's Citation, trivia, expedition and planet points, what is done and what is left. Tap a row to go straight to it. - If notifications are on, the lab reminds you when a new day's rewards are ready and when planet points are still left before the planet's day ends. Changed - On Generators, the scene stays in place while the cards scroll, so you see what each purchase changes. - The lab task that shared a name with the Cold Storage technology is now called Cryogenics. Tasks say "Begin task" and are listed apart, since they need no researcher. - Blueprint parts you already have show a tick instead of being crossed out. - Primordial Seed now starts each universe with Biomass and Industry as well as Complexity. - Fire behaves more like the real thing: cotton flashes, rope smoulders, wood burns long, gasoline outruns kerosene and wax melts before it burns. - The permission prompts are translated into every language. Fixed - Opening Research no longer crashes the game in Japanese, and the same fault is fixed in Korean and Turkish. - Expedition cards stay on screen after they turn over, until you tap Done. - The Granary, Space Station and Internet can be built. - The Advancements dot lights up when you can afford a technology. - Tapping a completed Field of Science opens the Sciences page of the Journal. - A process no longer sits at "Establishing 0:00" while the Crucible is open. - The Harness button always shows the full count and cost, and the lab's skip button fits. - Ads come back on their own when you return to the game. - Daily planet points count again.

NEW - Meet Ollie, the lab's assistant. He shows new scientists around, explains each room the first time you open it, and brings you the lab's news. Settings can replay his introduction. - The lab has a story. A new chapter arrives in your Journal as the world reaches certain ages, and each one ends with something to do. - The Restoration Initiative. Every scientist's work adds points to one shared planet, restored one stage at a time. Normal play adds up to five steps a day, and your own points pay Citations, free expeditions, a profile icon and a title as they add up. - Later in the story you are handed a plan of your own, with a Field, a blueprint and an age to finish in each of four areas. Work you have already done counts toward it. - The Research tab shows your current mission, the next reward on every branch, and lab equipment that appears as you build and research. - Eight new projects put your blueprints to work. - Every Object has a guide: what it does, where to place it and one thing to try. Five new working Objects arrive for the later ages, and some come free with their blueprint. - Tap a research project or a blueprint to open it on a larger page, with what it gives and everything it needs. CHANGED - Blueprints are priced for the age they belong to, and building one no longer makes the next one cost more. - Research you queued keeps going while the app is closed, and a blueprint that finishes while you are away is ready when you return. - A goal for an invention shows the research that gives it and the two things to mix on the field, instead of sending you to the shop. - Your Objects merge across your devices instead of one copy replacing the other. - Object previews show what will land, with its real colors and texture. FIXED - Paper waits for the Bronze Age, so its goal no longer shows up before it can be made. - Sapient next to wood makes fire once, for the discovery, and then stops. - A rewarded ad that sat too long or failed to load no longer gets stuck. - The update notice always checks the App Store fresh. - A season's Citation rewards are paid before the next season starts. - The bars above the field keep one size, and the brush slider slides smoothly. - The Greenhouse is hollow, the Water Tower drains and the Geyser vents.

New - Every scientist card now carries a picture. The seven with no free likeness show the thing they found instead: Miller's spark flask, Oparin's black smoker, Cloud's banded iron, Woese's stromatolites, Margulis's mitochondria, Newcomen's engine and Noyce's silicon. - The boards read on ten at a time, so you can follow the ranks past your own neighbourhood. - The Crucible's Stats page counts the civilization act too: technologies researched and buildings standing. Both show on your profile. - The lab is on Facebook. Following pays ten Citations, once, like the others. - A revealed timeline hint also says what the next age wants banked, and how much of it you have earned. - A goal for a creature says how long a find takes and that the class has to stay alive on the field. Changed - Life stays what it is. An evolution driven by air, oxygen, water or carbon dioxide happens once, to make the discovery, and then stops, so a reptile left in the open is still a reptile. An evolution that needs something you placed still works every time. - Recombination asks more and pays less. A first collapse banks tens of Stardust rather than thousands, antimatter and the black hole cost what they are worth, and a collapse now asks that all three currencies have been earned. Nothing you were already paid is lost: your place on the curve comes with you. - Advancements cost more as they deepen, so the board is a plan rather than a sweep. - The cards that appear over the sandbox sit at the top now, out of the half of the field you build in. - The Object controls and the next age's bank share the bar above the field instead of floating over it. - A field of science waits for its own era, and Radioactivity asks for the reactor as well as the bench. - Your first launch goes straight into the world; the start page waits until there is a world to come back to. - With Online off, your dot and your last visit stay hidden, but you are still counted among the scientists in the lab right now. Fixed - Hours played agreed with itself across your devices, instead of walking backwards whichever one saved last. - Your own row on the boards shows your real output and hours even with your standing withheld. - Two crashes: one when queueing a blueprint in the lab, one on the Advancements map. - A finished field of science opens the Journal when its notice says to tap. - A bought discovery leaves the shelf at once, and the Discoveries dot only lights when there is something to buy. - The Journal remembers where each page was left, the scientists list shows a silhouette instead of a question mark, and the shark looks like a shark. - Operations buttons are one size, and generator cards keep one font size. - Time played today turns over on your own calendar day, not UTC. - Grant Funding owners get surges instead of a boost they cannot use.

NEW - A start page: your Living Earth at the age your world is in, what is waiting inside, and the doors to the simulation, the release notes and the languages. Settings has a Start Page row to return to it. - The leaderboard counts the whole community: how many scientists there are, the hours played between them, and the hours played today. - The lab asks for an update once a newer version is on the App Store. You can put it off twice; after that it waits for the update. No connection means no card, and the lab stays playable. - What changed: after an update the lab opens with the notes for the version you just got, in plain words. Settings has a Release Notes page with every version, folded by version. - A scientist who keeps their flag private flies the Earth on the boards instead of a blank. CHANGED - Firsts, in the Journal: every first now carries a line or two about the same first on the real Earth, from the first elements after the Big Bang to the first footprints on the Moon. - Hints show larger reagent tiles and names. - Acid is called sulfuric acid everywhere it is discovered or asked for. - The 1.0.7 gift has been handed out and is retired. FIXED - The generator card's multiplier and count no longer wrap or clip on a narrow phone; every card keeps the same height. - A leaderboard row keeps its standing, title and hours on one line. - The badge shelf on a profile wraps into rows instead of scrolling off the plate. - Sunlight rays show the moment the light is placed, without a relaunch, and a magnet's field goes when the field is cleared. - A card dismissed with Not now fades where it sits instead of sliding under the menu bar.

It lands on your first launch of this version. - Profiles, rebuilt: a header plate in your avatar's colour, your title and badges under your name, your place on the timeline, the three numbers that matter, a record that only lists what you have done, and your Cabinet as decks on shelves. - Badges: Peer Review at 5, 15, 50 and 100 referrals (Reviewer, Referee, Editor, Chair), plus streak, trivia, expedition and set badges in bronze, silver, gold and laurel. Your own page shows the next one with your count. - Titles: 36 tags earned by playing, from Fire Starter to Grandmaster. Pick the one you wear from your profile; it shows under your name on the leaderboard. - Your profile is where you change your picture, name and title. Settings shows one row for who you are. - An unowned scientist card wears a cameo in its frame, not a question mark. - Every event season has a new scene at full resolution: an erupting volcano with lava and lightning in the ash, a culture dish with plaques spreading, a quarry test range with live shots, and a dig with a sauropod being uncovered by day. Each one grows as you build operations. - Motion across the Events screen: the road fills and breathes while a reward waits, ready rewards pulse, a claim throws sparks and names itself, purchases light their row, and the standings rise in. - The lab tells you when it has gone idle: the last finish says nothing is queued, and a queued run says when it will run dry. - Past expeditions: a row under Field Expeditions lists every expedition you have opened, newest first, with the cards it brought back and which were new. FIXED - Event rewards are never lost to logging in late: any rung you reached in a season that has since closed is claimed for you the moment the game next sees it, and placement prizes settle for the season you actually played, even if a whole cycle went by. - iPad, landscape: the hint and next step sit once, in the left rail; the right rail keeps its room for recents. The currencies stay on one row. - Claiming an event reward no longer jolts the row: the spark burst and the ready ring take no room in the layout. - Another scientist's profile shows a card face up only if you have found it yourself; the rest stay face down and counted. - An expedition carrying more than three cards shows them three across with rows below, and scrolls, instead of running off the screen. - The Evolved badge on a generator card no longer breaks onto a second line. - The research queue continues on its own after anything finishes, including a build that finished while the app was closed. A queued item that cannot start yet says what it is waiting for. - Granite forms from lava on stone again: it was unreachable, because lava's own heat sat above the reaction's ceiling.

NEW - Peer Review: every scientist has a referral code. Give it to a friend; when they enter it, you both get 20 Citations. Find yours under Settings, with the box for promotion codes. - Login streak: opening the lab counts the day and pays a Citation, two once the streak has run a week, plus the daily lump of every currency. Miss a day and the streak waits for you that day: keep it with a short ad or start over. Your streak shows on the leaderboard and your profile. - Follow the lab on Instagram, Reddit or X for 10 Citations each. - The lab leaves a note now and then (one a day at most) and reminds you once a day while today's Citation or expedition is still waiting. - Research, rebuilt around a lab of one or two: a queue the next free researcher works through, faster and cheaper blueprint builds, a lab focus you can point at any process and change at will, Citations and expedition cards. A project waits the moment the tab opens, the studies are spread across the ages, and fourteen projects are done in the game itself: build the microscope, run six steam engines, take three expeditions. - The Research tab shows what is in progress and queued, filters by Available, Running and Done, previews the real time each study takes, shows rewards as ×15.10 → ×15.22, and says why a button cannot go. Wires follow real prerequisites; the tree names only what you have reached. - Blueprints say what they are for, a missing part tells you where to get it, a Built list keeps what you have made, and prices follow the age rather than how many materials you bought. - Undo for Objects, and Rotate and Flip before one lands. - Thai and Polish, interface and content. - Trivia: a second round is on offer whether the first was won or lost, and it pays its own Citation. CHANGED - Events are seasons: each run starts the ladder over, the Citation rungs pay again, and the board ranks this season. Everything a season earned stays. Rewards sit across the five days; a tap is worth up to two seconds of output. - The welcome-back note says how long you were away and whether the lab hit its cap. Stats shows the cap and the card count. - Fossil creatures arrive one at a time; each discovery banner has its own number; goals count everything left in the era; the day turns over at your local midnight. - Generator cards: count on the tile, currency glyph, two-line names. FIXED - Another scientist's page no longer names an age you have not reached. - Join numbers and dates come from the server now. - Starfish painted as a block slide into a row. - The blowtorch builds when its parts show as in hand; the aqueduct and firework wait for the ages their parts exist in. - The expedition focus menu takes the tap.

NEW - The whole game speaks your language now, not just the menus: element names, goals, hints, the stories behind every substance and creature, what each is used for, card text, every trivia question, the Tour and the Manual, journal notes, notifications and the next-step card, in all thirteen languages. - Expeditions with a purpose: point one at an era, or at a set still short of cards, from the Cabinet. The odds are unchanged; the focus only chooses which cards of that rarity you see. - After your fifth ad, the lab mentions once that Grant Funding ends every ad for good and keeps the x2 boost on forever. CHANGED - One expedition a day. Crossing an age or finishing a trial packs three more cards into your next expedition instead of queuing a second trip. - Your lab keeps earning for eight hours while you are away, up from two. Every upgrade still adds its hour on top. - The leaderboard shows play time from the first minute. - The Store says what it means in a line, not a paragraph. FIXED - Time away is paid the way an open lab earns it: waits that finished while you were out change your rate from that moment, and Self-Assembly keeps buying while you are away. - Painting and reactions now count toward the lifetime totals that unlock ages and pay Stardust. - Nothing from a later age appears early in expeditions, Blueprints or scenes.

NEW - Primordia Lab speaks thirteen more languages: Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Indonesian and Vietnamese. The game follows your phone's language, and Settings has a Language row if you want another. Element names, goals, lore and trivia stay in English for now. CHANGED - The welcome-back card waits until you have been away five minutes. Shorter breaks still bank their earnings, quietly. - If you are enjoying the lab, it asks once, ten minutes in, whether you would rate it. Not now is an answer too. FIXED - The leaderboard was not saving anyone's standing on 1.0.3, so your own row showed no You and no online dot. Saves land again, and your old row is carried over on the first launch. - A profile could show an impossible year joined if the phone's clock was wrong on first launch. Join dates are checked now, and a bad one is replaced the next time the clock makes sense.

NEW - Science Trivia in the Journal: three questions a day from a bank of over a thousand, on the elements, reactions, the Earth, space, life, fossils, inventions and the story of science. Answer all three for a Citation; a lost round gets one more try with fresh questions after a short ad. No question comes back until every one has been asked. - Public profiles show how many trivia questions a player has answered right, and which scientist they were to join the lab. - A gold dot on the Settings button when a friend request is waiting, and a green dot on the leaderboard beside anyone who is online. CHANGED - The free daily expedition is for that day: send it or it is gone at midnight. Expeditions earned by crossing an age still wait for you. - The Fossil Record counts what you have found out of every creature in the game, and says so plainly before the first animals appear. - Everyone is on the leaderboard. A row is kept for every player signed into iCloud on their device; Game Center is no longer needed. Friends, links and the Developer badge follow a player across the change. - Life arrives one process at a time. Each of the Age of Life's processes now opens with its own age instead of three landing at once at the dawn of life. - The public profile shows Reactions and drops the tap counter. - Five creatures have their own hand-drawn tiles: graptolite, conodont, priapulid, sea scorpion and crab. - VoiceOver reads each process card as one line and says what Harness, Evolve and the fifteen-minute skips do and cost. FIXED - The Objects shelf opens as soon as its first age arrives, showing what each Object is made of, and six new pieces (a salt bed, an iron lode, a boulder, a stone arch, stone steps and a limestone shelf) are built from materials the first ages already give you. Before, nothing on the shelf could be bought for the whole opening act. - A player's profile could appear twice on the leaderboard after a launch where Game Center had not finished signing in. Rows are now keyed by the iCloud account, which does not change between launches, and a device that once left a stray row removes it.

Thank you for the reports and the reviews. This update fixes the things you found and adds a few you asked for. FIXED - Fourteen elements the periodic table lights in the opening act (sulfur, zinc, tin, lead and more) could not be bought until a much later age, and every recipe that needed them waited with them. They are for sale the moment they light. - Four recipes (the benzene ring, chloroform, the lens and the prism) were offered long before their ingredients could be made. They now appear when they can be done. - The dawn of life arrived a little too slowly once you had stocked a full shelf. The gate is lower. - Graphics quality on Automatic could get stuck on Low and never recover. It steps back up once the device holds its frame rate. - A purchase can no longer be credited twice, and a refunded purchase is removed from the game. - Discovery cards, the notebook and the goal list only name rewards your current age can stock or build. NEW - Today's Citation can be claimed straight from the Earth face, next to the daily bonus. - The game lets you know when a newer version is on the App Store. - Report a Problem now includes the details of the last crash, so a report can be acted on the same day.

Thank you for playing Primordia Lab in its first week. This update takes care of the things you told us about. FIXED - The Advancements map holds still. Buying a link or revealing a new one no longer moves anything you had already found. - Discovery cards, the notebook and the goal list only name rewards your current age can stock or build. No more burners, coolers, walls or batteries promised ages early. - The Generators screen shows each generator's true output, including every boost you have bought. - The Friends leaderboard fills the whole screen. - Brush sizes past nine read cleanly beside the slider. - The Quality setting is easier to tap: the whole row opens the menu. - Players without Game Center no longer appear on the leaderboard more than once.
