A quiet tap that lights up their home screen. Tap once, and the person you love sees their phone glow with your name. Knock is a lamp, not a chat. You have six slots for the people who matter — a partner, a best friend, a parent. Each of them is an ember on your home screen in their own color. Tap one, and their lock screen blooms warm with your name for ten minutes, then fades. No text. No feed. No read receipts. The entire message is: I thought of you just now. MADE FOR THE PEOPLE FAR AWAY Knocks sent while they sleep arrive quietly when they wake — "knocked while you slept." Time zones stop mattering. For long-distance couples, deployed families, study-abroad semesters, and best friends in different cities. EMBERS STAY LIT TOGETHER Knock each other on consecutive days and your ember stays warm. Miss a day, and it cools before the run resets. Both of you own the streak — no one-sided guilt. One free rekindle a month, because life happens. QUIET BY DESIGN • No messages, photos, comments, or feed • No phone numbers — sign in with Apple only • No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics • Knock records delete themselves after 30 days • Six people maximum. Scarcity is the point. A knock per pair every 15 minutes. That's the whole app. It's enough.
