• Pain character — record what a flare actually feels like: cramping, labour-like, burning, squeezing, stabbing, dragging, nerve-like. Pick as many as apply.
• Daily impact — record what the pain stopped you doing, not just how much it hurt. It appears in your doctor report.
• New symptoms — clotting, constipation and diarrhoea as separate entries, overactive bladder, leaking, pelvic fullness, heartburn, lightheadedness, fainting, vomiting, numbness.
• New pain locations — hips, upper and lower abdomen, around the navel, thighs, glutes, feet.
