FlaskConnect draws laboratory apparatus and chemical structures on a single canvas. Lay out glassware with port-to-port tubing alongside structures and reaction schemes, then export figures for your lab notes, reports and talks.
What you can do
- Apparatus diagrams: tap to place a flask, condenser or dropping funnel, then tap a port and the next piece connects in the right position. Move things around and the connections hold.
- Structures and reactions: atoms, bonds, charges, wedge/hash stereo and aromatic rings, with reaction arrows and conditions on the same canvas.
- Names and structures: look up a structure from a compound name, or names and properties from a structure (via PubChem).
- Export: SVG and PNG, shared straight to Mail, Notes or your writing app.
- Apple Pencil: draw with Pencil or with your fingers.
- iCloud sync: pick up the same document on your Mac and iPad.
- Runs on your device: drawing, rendering and export all happen locally. Your drawings are never sent to the developer's servers. The only network request is the compound lookup (PubChem).
Pricing
- Free: apparatus drawing, export to SVG and PNG, and iCloud sync. No time limit.
- FlaskConnect Pro unlocks drawing of chemical structures and reaction schemes. US$3.99 per month with the first month free, or a one-time purchase of US$39.99. Both unlock exactly the same features.
- The monthly plan is an auto-renewable subscription. It continues until you cancel, and you can cancel any time up to 24 hours before the period ends, from Subscriptions in the App Store. Prices vary by region.
