Money Tracker is a personal finance app that keeps your data on your phone. Track spending, budgets, bills, and net worth in one place, and link your banks only if you want to.
Your transactions live in an encrypted database on your device. We don't store them on our servers, so there is nothing for us to sell and nothing to lose if a server goes away. If you turn on optional bank sync, bank data is retrieved through Plaid and passed through our servers to your device without being stored there. If you have been burned by a budgeting app that shut down or started mining your data, this one was built for you.
It works whether you check in every morning or once a month. Link every account for one real net worth number, or add transactions by hand with Siri, the camera, or a quick template. Either way, a 30 second review keeps everything sorted, and the app learns your categories as you go.
