Without a display connected, the app opens to a "Connect External Monitor" setup screen. There is no standalone on-device browsing mode. A cable needs an iPhone with USB-C video out (iPhone 15 or later, except iPhone 16e, iPhone 17e and iPhone Air). • Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Peacock and other streaming services now play on the TV over a USB-C cable. • Typing into sign-in forms, like Netflix's, now registers. Before, the text could vanish when you moved to the next field. • Controls made for a phone: in portrait they stack above the trackpad, in landscape they sit beside it. The address bar gets its own row. • A new iPhone keyboard layout, with Tab, .com, paste and the arrow keys on a slim row of their own. • One purchase covers iPhone and iPad. • On an 11-inch or smaller iPad held in portrait, the controls now fit the screen instead of running off its edge. • The walkthrough no longer skips its steps on saving a page and opening your favorites.
