Every stand of public forest in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota, scored for cover and ranked near you. Works with no signal. Start with a 14-day free trial. Know which cover is worth your boots before you leave the truck. Apex reads the state and federal forest inventory for every stand of public land in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota: what is growing there, how old it is, and how thick the understory is. It scores that as grouse and woodcock habitat, groups the best of it into coverts, ranks them by how far you would walk, and puts them on a map that works with no signal. This is habitat intelligence, not a feed of pins. A score of 78 means the cover is strong right now: the right type, at the right age, with food and escape cover close by. It does not promise a bird. Hunt a 78 ten times and you will move more birds than on a 40. APEX PRO • PICKS: scored coverts on the map and ranked in Discover, each with a guide that tells you why it is good, how to hunt it in today's wind, and where to start. • TIMBER: every stand in the state to browse and filter by cover type and age, not just the picks. • CREW: share coverts and pins with your hunting party, see each other live when you choose to, and message whenever you have a bar of signal. Nobody outside your crew sees any of it. • Scout mode and conditions that re-rank the day. FREE, ALWAYS • The map: roads, trails and two-tracks, national forest, state forest, and game and wildlife areas. • Turn-by-turn directions to any pin over roads, trails and two-tracks. Or take a straight line, or hand the drive off to Apple Maps. • Your pins and recorded tracks, with elevation and distance. • The journal: every hunt, flush and note, with photos. • The plant field guide. • Import your waypoints from onX, Gaia and handheld GPS units (GPX, KML, KMZ, GeoJSON). BUILT FOR THE WOODS • Offline first. The coverts, stands and scores live on your phone and are ranked on your phone. Download the map for your area over Wi-Fi and the imagery comes with you. • Private by design. No account needed. Your spots stay on your phone unless you turn on backup or share them with your crew. No ads, no trackers, and we never sell your data. • No password, ever. Sign in with Apple, or with a one-time code we email you. IMPORTANT Apex is not a legal record of land ownership or public access. Boundaries come from agency data that is generalized and can be wrong at the edges, and ground shown as public may be private, leased or closed. What is posted on the ground controls. You are responsible for knowing where you are and for following all hunting regulations. SUBSCRIPTION Apex Pro is $4.99 per month with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings. One subscription covers Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Terms of Use: https://api.apexhunt.app/terms Privacy Policy: https://api.apexhunt.app/privacy
