Public Pools+ is the easiest way to find and follow public pools, water playgrounds, and spray features in your city — all in one simple app. The "+" is for the water features: they far outnumber the pools, and they're how most people (and their kids) cool off fast when a heat wave hits.
Pick your city — Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and more — or let the app find the nearest one automatically. Whether you're planning a morning lap swim, an afternoon with the kids at a splash pad, or just looking for the closest place to cool off, you'll always know where to go and when.

• Browse every public pool, spray feature, and water playground in your city, each with address, photo, amenities, and hours • Search by name or neighborhood • Filter by type, session (lap swim, open swim, and more), pool size, and features like ADA access, showers, and shallow areas • Sort by distance to find the closest spot near you • "Now" — instantly see everywhere with a session happening right this minute • Today view — what's open today, at a glance • Full schedules for every pool, including holiday hours • Closure info — the reason and expected reopen date when a pool is closed • Weather advisories — a "thunderstorm nearby" heads-up on pools that may close for lightning, and air-quality alerts on bad-air days
POOL PRO
Pool Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks extras like favorites, session reminders, closure alerts, calendar export, live crowd reports, private notes, and an ad-free experience. (Pool Pro is not available for purchase in this app.)
REAL DATA, HONESTLY PRESENTED
Schedules and locations are compiled from each city's publicly posted parks information. If something isn't confirmed, the app says nothing rather than guessing.
PRIVACY-FIRST
No account is needed to use the app — browsing, searching, schedules, and weather advisories all work without signing in. An optional free account (just an email) unlocks personalization. Location is used only to show pools near you, and only if you allow it. We never sell or share your data, and you can delete your account (and all its data) inside the app at any time.
