Zerogram — Accessible Telegram Client
Zerogram is a completely free, independent Telegram client designed from the ground up for blind and low-vision users. It is built on Telegram's official open-source library (TDLib), so it works with your real Telegram account and your real chats.
Why Zerogram?
Full compatibility with the VoiceOver screen reader is the app's core design goal. Every button, every message, every screen is crafted with clear labels, hints, and rotor actions. Messages are read as "who, when, what" with a single tap; voice messages are announced with their duration, and play, pause, and seek are offered as rotor actions.

Hello, I would like to report a couple of issues I’m experiencing with Zerogram on iOS 16. 1.When bilingual mode is enabled and my device language is set to English, VoiceOver does not read Arabic text. Whenever it encounters Arabic text, it does not pronounce it correctly or read it aloud. 2.I’m also unable to answer group calls. Could you please look into these issues and consider fixing them in a future update? Thank you very much for developing Zerogram and for your work on the app.

Dear Zerogram Development Team,I would like to report an accessibility issue that I have experienced while using Zerogram.Zerogram is very useful for visually impaired users, and I appreciate the work you have done to make Telegram more accessible. However, there is an important issue when accessing Telegram channels that contain lists.For example, a channel may organize its content into different lists or categories, such as books, novels, stories, quotes, and other topics. When I open such a channel, I am unable to properly navigate into these lists and access the messages or links contained inside them.As a visually impaired user who relies on a screen reader, I need to be able to navigate through these lists, open each category, and then access the individual messages or links inside it. Currently, these elements do not appear to be properly accessible or navigable with the screen reader.Could you please investigate this issue and consider improving the accessibility of these lists and their contents?It would be especially helpful if each list or category could be exposed as an accessible element that can be selected and opened using a screen reader, with the messages and links inside also being individually accessible.Thank you very much for your work on Zerogram and for your continued efforts to improve accessibility for visually impaired users. I hope this issue can be addressed in a future update.Kind regards

NEW
• Voice chat and live stream recording: admins can record voice chats and streams as audio or video. Everyone in the chat is told when recording starts and stops, and the elapsed time is read aloud.
• Stream recordings page: group and channel admins can listen to, watch, export, send to the chat or delete their recordings from the profile page.
• Share to Saved Messages: when sharing photos, videos, documents or anything else from other apps, you can now choose Saved Messages.
• Message channels: if a channel accepts direct messages, a "Send Message" button now appears on its profile.
• Telegram notification sounds: sounds saved to your Telegram account can now be chosen as notification sounds.
• The start voice chat shortcut is now a small icon next to the group or channel title.
IMPROVEMENTS
• Chats with many unread messages now open at the first unread message, and newer messages load correctly when you swipe or scroll with three fingers.
• VoiceOver focus no longer jumps when new messages arrive or older and newer messages load.
• Media with a caption now reads the caption first. Meaningless file names and file extensions are no longer read.
• Translated messages stay translated when you move away and come back.
• The message viewers list now explains why it is empty (unread, group too large, message too old, or viewers not shared).
FIXES
• Fixed messages loading only one message after opening a chat from a notification.
• General stability and accessibility improvements.
