■ All the analog feel
- Pencils respond to pressure and tilt — shade with the side of the lead. Paper tooth, stroke taper, even the scratching sound.
- Pick your paper: kent, rough drawing paper, kraft, or black (white pencil looks great).
- Marker strokes lay flat and sink only where they overlap, from a hue × tone color library.
■ Throw some trace on it
- One tap drops a sheet of yellow trace — slightly askew, like the real roll.
- Stack studies, dim them, compare. The sheet you pick returns to 100%.
■ Real dimensions
- Plan grids by region: 16″/24″ o.c. (US), 600/300 (EU), 910mm (JP).
- Architectural scales (1/4″=1′-0″ …) and metric (1:50/100/200).
- "Actual size" makes the glass truly to-scale — put a real ruler on it.
- Tap inside a room you drew to measure its area (switch m² / tsubo / tatami / ft²); partitions and notes inside are counted to centerline.
■ For real work
- Lay a photo of a drawing as an underlay layer and trace over it.
- Organize sketches into books per project.
- Share as PDF, image, or an Esquisse file that opens right in the app. AirPrint supported.
