THE CARD TABLES Euchre and Cribbage now fill the whole screen — real felt, a wooden rail, and much bigger cards. Your hand always fits, so you never scroll to see what you're holding. In Euchre the trick lands in front of whoever played it, at their angle, the way it would on a real table. PLAYING A FRIEND Euchre against a friend now uses the same table as the solo game, instead of four cards in a row. Cribbage now counts the crib. It was being dealt and then skipped, which quietly cost the dealer four or five points every hand — sorry about that. You can also deal the next hand, so a cribbage game can be played out to 121. And there's a turn clock when the host sets one, so a game doesn't stall when somebody puts their phone down. In Euchre, if your time runs out your phone makes the safest move it can rather than leaving everyone waiting. WORDS Word games accept every real word you can make from the letters, not just the one we had in mind. Spell STONE when we had ONSET and it counts. About 34,000 more words in the dictionary, so ordinary words like NOISY, RIVET and TRAWL stop being rejected. Drag the letters in Word Scramble and Word Rush, or keep tapping — both work.
