A better-looking game, and a change to cashing out. The arcade game has been redrawn. Enemies are proper ships now, they bank as they dive, and each wave flies in and forms up instead of appearing all at once. Kills burst in colour, and the dive bonus is easier to read. Your first cash-out is still 2,000 coins ($2.00). Every cash-out after it now needs 5,000 coins ($5.00). PayPal charges us a near-flat fee on every transfer, so it takes a far bigger bite out of a small payout than a large one — keeping your first one cheap and batching the rest leaves more to pay you with. The reason is shown on the cash-out screen whenever it applies.

Seven languages, working properly this time. The last update said the app spoke German and French. It didn't — every screen came out in English whatever your phone was set to. That is fixed, and Japanese, Korean and Dutch have joined the list. Everything follows your device language now: the game, your coin balance, settings, cashing out, contacting support and your payout history. Canadian French is its own option. Dates and times in your game history are written the way your language writes them, too.

The space theme used to stop at the home screen; settings, payout history and the redeem sheet now match it instead of sitting on a plain white background. Fixed: on iPhones with a Dynamic Island, your score in Space Attack was drawn underneath it and stayed hidden for your whole run. It now has its own line where you can see it. Clearing a level looks the part now, too. More videos available when you tap to watch one for extra coins. There's another provider behind the first, so an empty slot on one no longer means no video at all. Also fixed: if bonus coins from a video failed to save, the app still told you that you'd earned them. It now waits for the coins to land, and says so if something goes wrong.

A BIGGER BONUS The optional video after clearing a level now pays 3-9 coins instead of a flat 4. On average that's more than before, and the number you see is always the number banked. Bonus videos are still always optional — you never have to watch one to earn from clearing levels. Cashing out starts at 2,000 coins ($2.00). SETTINGS, AND DELETING YOUR DATA There's a Settings screen now. It has the privacy policy, and a way to delete everything we hold about you — your coins, your history and your account — in one tap plus a confirmation. Records of payouts you've already requested are kept for tax and fraud reasons; the app tells you that before you confirm. GETTING HELP Settings also has a contact form. Tell us what went wrong and we'll reply by email — your app version and account id are attached automatically, and shown to you before you send, so we can look up a missing payout without a dozen questions first.
