Gathering what you have told us since launch, this update brings new features. ■ Say it in your guest’s language “Right this way.” “We’re fully booked at the moment.” “Careful, the plate is hot.” The lines a dining room actually needs, gathered under the moments of service they belong to. Turn the screen towards your guest and it is understood — in all twelve languages. ■ Make the phrases your own Hide the lines you never use, move the ones you do to the top, and put away whole sections if you wish. For anything particular to your house, write it in your own words: it is rendered into eleven languages on the spot, and from then on you simply tap it. ■ And a word back from the guest For anything the ready-made lines don’t cover, your guest writes in their language and it appears in yours. An allergy, a dislike, a train to catch — the exchange keeps moving. ■ Wording that sounds spoken Translations have been reworked so the phrasing is what a native speaker would actually say at that moment, rather than a word-for-word rendering. ■ A gentler start Open the app for the first time after installing and a short guide now greets you.
