Plan the next road, record the route you traveled, and keep photos, journey expenses, fuel, and receipts together in a private journal. No separate account is required. MichiLoop is a private road-trip journal that brings route planning, GPS ride logging, photos, and memories together for motorcycle and car journeys. KEEP THE ROAD AND THE MEMORY Start a ride log even without a plan. When you end the ride, its route, distance, and time are saved automatically apart from any journal. Review or delete logs later by date or plan under Ride Logs, and add a journal only when you want one. CAPTURE A PARKED MOMENT QUICKLY Capture a photo or video up to 60 seconds. Basic tools include crop, 90-degree rotation, straightening, brightness, video trim, mute, and cover-frame time. Creator Pack is a one-time In-App Purchase for advanced color, filters, text, drawing/markup, traveled-route and planned-route overlays, date, place, distance, and duration. In Cover Studio, layer actual or planned routes over line art or a map. Route-bearing finished outputs require Creator Pack; previews and a route-hidden basic cover remain free. It is included while Plus is active. Supported iPhones can open the still-photo finder from Control Center, the Action button, or Lock Screen. KEEP PHOTOS, VIDEO, AND VOICE TOGETHER Combine photos, videos, and voice notes in one journal entry. Add up to five photos to each Spot Book entry, reorder the cover, and refine a photo in Media Studio. RECORD JOURNEYS AND EVERYDAY VEHICLE LIFE Separate traveled journeys from preparation, customization, gear purchases, and other everyday notes. Set a journey budget, enter expenses and fuel details, review totals by currency, and scan a receipt on-device before confirming the suggested fields. Walking segments can also keep step counts from supported-device motion data. LOOK BACK BY JOURNEY AND VEHICLE Revisit completed journeys, places on your Footprint map, and distance or entry counts for each vehicle. Your journal is private by default, with no separate MichiLoop account. PLAN THE NEXT JOURNEY Choose a start, destination, and stops, then review a road route with estimated distance and time for each day. Keep arrival targets, breaks, and a preparation checklist with the plan, or duplicate an earlier plan to reuse it. FREE CORE AND MICHILOOP PLUS Ride recording, journals, one-day plans, three saved plans/drafts, basic GPX, one vehicle, basic editing, and export remain free. MichiLoop Plus is an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription that adds 2–14 days, more saved plans/drafts, KML and map links, per-leg transport, avoidance and route-candidate settings, and a second vehicle and beyond. It includes all Creator Pack features while active. Eligible Apple Accounts can start a 14-day annual trial; the monthly plan has no trial. The App Store shows the localized price, eligibility, and renewal terms before purchase. Plans, vehicles, and journals created while subscribed remain viewable after cancellation. PREPARE FOR THE DAY Review weather for planned places and times. Home and widgets show your next journey and preparation. Live Activities show recording time, distance, and GPS status. PLAN FERRIES AND USE GPX Keep ferry crossings separate from driving distance. Import key points from a GPX file to begin a plan, export a saved plan, or export a recorded journey with its traveled route. Data is stored on your device, and supported data syncs to your private CloudKit database when iCloud is available. In this version, journey budgets, expenses, receipt images, and walking metrics stay on the device. Export a copy of them with your other app data and media from Settings. No MichiLoop account is required. Never operate the device while riding or driving. MichiLoop does not replace navigation, emergency services, or safety assistance. Journal now separates traveled journeys from preparation, customization, gear purchases, and other everyday notes. Add a journey budget, expenses, fuel details, totals by currency, and on-device receipt scanning. Walking segments can keep step counts. This update also improves loading for large libraries and makes journey expenses and completed ride recovery more reliable.
