Fill gaps in a recorded ride by adding places or tracing the route on a map. Review an Apple Maps route candidate before saving. Recorded GPS points stay unchanged; saved places and route settings are used to request the road route again when displayed. The route editor now scrolls as a whole, with a dedicated map for editing. Improved draft recovery, retry and Undo, route display, and camera responsiveness.

Plan dates and riding days are easier to adjust. Jump to the section you need, even in an itinerary with many checkpoints. Journal entries now put their own text first. Reach distance corrections, vehicle maintenance, spot saving and cover export more easily. Larger touch targets improve photo and video editing. Expense and sharing settings make save results easier to see.

See the difference from the planned time, elapsed time since the previous checkpoint and observed progress. Checkpoint counts are no longer limited per plan or per day. Plan ferries, trains and other transport directly from each stop, with departure and arrival dates for same-day, overnight or next-morning travel. Review each day on the map and see riding distance separately from walking and other transport. Enter a service distance when known, or leave it unset. Daily recorded distances now preserve the recorded total and show when an allocation is estimated. The Footprint map now highlights regions where you saved journey logs. Switch between Regions and Places to revisit the original records. You can now draw missing sections of a recorded journey on the map, then edit or remove them later.
