PRISM Monitor
Audio immersive metering

iPad
Kaizen Audio PRISM Monitor turns your iPad into the meter bridge of your mix room. It receives audio from the PRISM Connect plug-in (macOS — Pro Tools, or any DAW that loads VST3/AU) over your local network and meters it live: master and every stem, mono to 9.1.6, on a board you arrange yourself.
No licence, no account, no in-app anything. The app is the free companion to the PRISM plug-in suite by Kaizen Audio.
TRY IT WITHOUT A RIG
Tap RUN DEMO and a built-in 7.1.4 program feeds every module — no plug-in, no session, no network needed. When a real PRISM Connect appears, the demo steps aside by itself.
EVERY STEM, ONE SCREEN
• One Connect set to Master publishes the whole machine — master and every stem — down one connection. The iPad finds it over Bonjour by itself.
• MULTI-METER BRIDGE: all your stems side by side, each with its own label, colour and scale.
• LISTEN: monitor a stereo downmix of what you are receiving, straight from the tablet.
• STEM SYNC: per-stem delay nudge so a stem's meter lines up with the master.
• Lossless int24 over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Up to four receivers per machine.
LOUDNESS YOU CAN SIGN OFF ON
• Sixteen delivery standards: EBU R128, ATSC A/85, Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV+, Spotify, YouTube, cinema theatrical and more — target and true-peak ceiling propagate to panel, timeline and radar at once.
• M · S · I · LRA to EBU Tech 3341/3342; true peak to ITU-R BS.1770-5, 4× oversampled.
• Loudness radar — a circular history, 1 minute to 1 hour per revolution.
• Loudness timeline locked to session timecode, up to 24 hours, with the distribution histogram built in.
• Height channels weigh 1.00, as BS.1770 says — not the classic 1.41 immersive-meter bug.
SEE WHERE IT ACTUALLY IS
• SCOPE — the room from above, energy as particles.
• VERTICAL SCOPE — the frontal screen: azimuth across, ceiling to floor up.
• CEILING — the height layer on its own.
• PRISM — the surround analyser: live energy polygon, phase bezel, field centroid.
• SPECTROGRAM (log 20 Hz–20 kHz), RTA (1/1 to 1/12 octave), VECTORSCOPE, CORRELATION per group, SPACE · SPATIAL.
A METER THAT'S ACTUALLY YOURS
• Digital IEC · DIN · BBC ballistics, RMS windows from VU 300 ms to DIN 10 ms, weighting None · RLB · A · C, K-System, five colour zones from a sixteen-colour palette.
• A preset stores the whole board and every module's setting. Factory boards included.
• Mono to 9.1.6: stereo, LCR, quad, 5.1, 7.1, 5.1.4, 7.1.2, 7.1.4, 9.1.4, 9.1.6 and more.
• Timecode from the host session on the iPad's header — the same clock as the plug-in.
Requires the free PRISM Connect plug-in on your computer for live metering (kaizen.audio). The demo mode works with nothing at all.
Ratings & Reviews

PRISM module
• Per-part transparency: dial back the layout lines, the speaker glyphs and the phase meters on their own — or hide any of them completely — so the signal stays readable.
• AUTO SCALE: the module's frame and markings thin down as the module gets smaller, instead of burying the display you are trying to read.
Loudness
• Loudness Range (LRA) can now be shown as a full-size reading, next to Integrated and Short-term.
• The loudness readouts are six slots you order yourself: Momentary, Short-term, Integrated, Max M, Max S and LRA.
• A moving playback line over the loudness history, and a clearer target guide with its value always on the scale.
RTA
• A reference line with its own level, and the bands that cross it light up.
• The delivery-standards table is now inside the app.
Layouts
• Ten factory layouts ship with the app, arranged for iPad. They install themselves whenever they are missing, never overwrite one of yours, and update when we improve them — unless you have saved over them, in which case yours always wins.
Fixes
• Factory layouts were missing entirely in earlier builds. They now always arrive.
• A source could disappear from the display when its track sat in silence.
• Two devices watching the same session no longer slow each other down.
• Recalling a layout no longer changes a module's input source.
