Videos in group chats now load only when you tap them, so chats with a lot of videos no longer close the app or play in stops and starts. Videos you share from an iPhone are made smaller before they upload, so they send first time. The app now asks once, when you first sign in, whether you'd like notifications. If you're on a free series, the Community tab explains how to join rather than showing an error, and your progress on a short series shows the right number of sessions.

This update fixes a number of things across the app. The red number on the app icon now clears as soon as you have read your notifications, and lessons you have finished stay marked as finished. Deleting a direct message removes it from your list until the other person writes again. Chat history now loads further back, event and birthday dates show the right day wherever you are, and signing out now stops notifications for that account on this phone. Scanning a QR code in the book now opens its lesson in the app. Insights to Intimacy now shows the correct book chapter and section labels.

The CFT invitation and sign-up button now stay visible above the virtual retreat session notes, including when the notes are collapsed.

Your virtual retreat now has separate Full Session Replay and Case Study Material tabs. Switch between the session recording and the original footage, with detailed case-study notes and supporting videos underneath. The app opens faster. It used to ask the server four rounds of questions before it could draw anything, each round waiting for the one before it. Now it asks once. The bell keeps its count when you are inside a course, instead of quietly dropping to nothing.

Your home screen now shows what is actually asking for you today, rather than everything you own. A course that releases day by day appears while it is running, and stops when it has finished. Anything you would rather not see there can be pushed away with a long press, either for today or for good. Community opens on everything at once instead of inside one room, and carries the Community Sanctuary Call. One tap to say you are coming puts you in the room with the others and reminds you an hour before. A course that releases a session at a time now opens with a short welcome and a Start, so your first day begins when you say it does.

A video pasted into a post now plays where you are reading it, instead of showing you its address, and the people tagged in a post open their profile when you tap them. That is true of retreat memories, community posts, replies and lesson comments alike. Courses say where you are in them. A session in the Love, Relationships & You Virtual Retreat now reads "Session 4 of 15" rather than counting only within the day, and the introduction courses number their sessions the same way the website does.

Messages now sit in the top bar of every screen, with a count of what you have not read, so a message finds you wherever you are in the app. The home screen shows the conversations waiting for you rather than every conversation you have ever had, and three upcoming events rather than two. Your retreat and circle conversations appear in Messages alongside everything else, so a number on the app icon always points at something you can open. Share the Journey has moved into the menu. Your own link, and any seats you have to give away, without leaving the app. The introduction courses now number their sessions the way the website does and carry their own colours, and the diagrams in the session notes fit the screen. Smaller fixes: the community filters can be closed again, and courses you have finished no longer offer a community they never had.
